=> he is a baby, and he acts according to what he like and want. here, he like suck a piece of maple sugar.

=>the baby is afraid of screamingand hate hearing big shouting. when the chief grow angry and shout at the baby.

no one is right ! the old woman is wise = intelligent + experience + knowledge, so it is her way to solve the problem !

he arent stronger than the chief, but he doesnt know how strong the chief is, so he doesnt scare ( cac cu ta co cau: thu nhat so ke anh hung, thu nhi so ke co cung lieu than, thang be nay ko co cung nhung ma no "lieu than" ). Yeah, i like bewithme''s attitude too.
