To keep E Club alive and to discuss a few things that I am concerned about, I'd like to post the following questions.
Your overall opinion about the job market ?
What is the acceptable salary range ?
What are the neccesary skills ?
In my opinion, the job market is very competitive and limited. It's popular to get a job in a small private business. However, there are not many small businesses in our country at the moment (relatively compared to the economy and population) Only a small portion of students with top grade can join those large foreign firms.
The salary may range from 500,000 to 1,500,000 (I have 1 friend working for 1 of the top 5 accounting firms (maybe top 4 now ) and earning about $150 but he/she has to work very hard)
As usual, you need English, Computer skills, and your personal values. I guess knowing Micro. Office is enough.
Those are some of my humble thoughts. Perhaps some of us, more or less, are getting to this point. Pls tell us what u think and that may help each of us to be a better ... job seeker
