Good afternoon my dears
Yesterday was such a very interesting day when i could hear something new of economy, inflation, deflation or something bla bla which I didnõ?Tt understand sometimes . Hehe
Anyway, I highly appreciate my sweet friends who attended FsC yesterday.
All of you can see that the topic for yesterday was not the one Mr. Dang posted. We have changed it into õ?o What were the most meaningful events in 2008? õ?" to Vietnam, to the world, or even to you. Then i could listen to something that made me ambiguous. (hehe, sorry Mr. Thai and his friend)
Anyway, today I would like to show you more information of alternative energy.
1. How many kinds of alternative energies are there?
2. How do you know about these? Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of replacing them for the old ones?
As far as I know, there are at least 4 main kinds of alternative energy:
- solar
- windpower
- geothermal
- other energies (hehe)( like tidal power, hydropower, biofuel, biomassõ?Ư)

1. Solar Energy
- This is the radiation produced by nuclear fusion reactions deep in the Sunõ?Ts Core.
- The simplest example of solar energy use is your calculator. As long as the light is in the room, the calculator always works by converting light into useful energy. ( i like using calculator when I am in My quilted blanket. Hehe, So there is no calculator working)
- Greenhouse and solariums are common examples of the direct use of solar energy.
2. wind power (windmill)
- is defined as the õ?o power generated by harnessing the wind, usually windmillõ?Ư..õ?
- In some farms, when harnessed, wind energy can be converted into mechanical for performing work such as pumping water, grinding grain and milling lumber..
3. Geothermal
- geo : ùf earth
- thermal: ùf heat ( im thinking of studying Greek)
- Geothermal energy is heat from within the earth
- We can use the steam or hot water produced inside the earth to heat building or generate electricity
- Geothermal energy is a renewable energy source because the water is replenished by rainfall and the heat is continuously produc inside the earth
- Where can you find geothermal energy:
+ volcanoes, fumaroles
+ hot springs ( i love this, hehe), geysers
