Fellow students! Poet am I not at all,
but illiterate of ancient tra***ions, I versify as a literary game,
bad scribe of grammatical errors. Stout-hearted fellow students,
discourse community, attentively put up with me.
Very often I, lone wanderer, despondent, complain of
the dreadful trouble which the trip-made-round binds me to.
The sun wakens me, perpetually weary in body,
sore-eyed and sorrow-minded, to depart on a painful journey,
to ride away on the compulsory journey, industrious and right-doing.

Rugged mountain height, joyless overhanging cliff
and muddy marsh -- to dreary path banished,
of dear home and domestic joy all deprived,
with rough goosebumps -- I forever cross over,
the commuter (shuttle traveler). Not many joys

has the weaving chariot journey. Ever weevils and grasshoppers
dash against my windows, porcupines and fawns lie --
badgers and weasels -- road kill of traffic
on the edge of the public roads, in the twinkling of an eye, DEAD!
Nor are fellow travellers good, but fierce and arrogant,

pass by me with high wheels, middle finger raised,
ejaculating insulting speeches. Ever in terror of the heart
I fear drunkards -- in madness they come with trumpets
or wander up steep hill paths, twisting and much-travelled,
to danger of injury crash. In darkness must I retrace my path

with of evening-work enough, draw near my household
with bladder-pain and butt-pain, not easily cured shoulder-pain,
weariness and headache, sciatica from sitting
on my long customary journey. Bindings I unfasten,
    unfasten seat-belt, unsew spine

from seat-cover's embrace, I return in lamentable state.
Weep, all those who attend, tears for my sad story,
hidden in my heart-box, told to no one.
Then speaks the message spirit, inward conviction of reasonableness,
    altogether truly: "Get real!

    Why dissatisfied? Need more oat-bran?
Bad hair-cut day? Untroubled you go,
just as easily return: close to heart the school-trip,
soothing the homecoming. From whence is your martyrdom?
You begin in the wooded forest of enduring beauty and comely,

covered with pine trees, brightly pleasing.
Dandelions and daisies ornament your drive.
Down to valley land, dryshod over mud-holes,
safe and sound you depart, willing and free from suffering.
Then turns the cart road between two wheat-houses (grain elevators)

to fields and farms, pasture and marshy field.
Magpies and quail, blackbirds with red feathers (red-winged),
all web-footed waterfowl and bird-tribe bright,
with flying pleasure and water joy sail and wander.
Then sweet-smelling orchards, almond trees and cherry trees,

you pass by contented. Why should we sympathize with you?
If bad weather grows cold your car heats itself.
Sliding beams of the mechanical horse lighten the dark night.
You go not in quicksand, but on solid ground.
Butterflies, not basilisks, attack your swift wagon.

Not dragons nor werewolves, but sheep and cattle herds,
Nor elephants nor any savage animal looks forth at you.
From beloved bed companion and pleasant child
to ivy-covered school amid a friendly band of companions.
Cease your nose-blowing (sniveling)! Seek out your serenity!"

    Accept this blessing, knowledge-seekers:
May all of your teachers direct your book-spirit,
may your school diploma hasten to harvest,
and your computer always perform work.
And if ever after you must pursue the shuttle path (commute),

this blessing I scatter to you: May beer-drinking cowboys
remain in the mead-hall, may tortoises and snails
crawl behind you, while before go, arrow swift,
foes hastening to hell. May fate grant you
a life course most joyful, contented and productive.
    The end
    Lois Ann Abraham

Maybe, I have sth for all of you:
1,You must write by English, not Vietnamese in this box .Vietnamese is only used when you want to translate sth: novels ,poems...
2.You must discuss, or examine, or give your own opinions about the novels, the poems or the writers....Don't write or copy only .Anyone can do this .
3.Remember: we are Vietnameses who are learning English!!!
I truly want to improve the club, create it more attractive.
    Chỉ có một lần thôi
    Em hỏi anh im lặng
    Thế mà em hờn giận
    Để chúng mình xa nhau....

    Love
    Love is blind,
    Blind as can be.
    It joins people together,
    As the world can see.
    Love is Heaven on Earth,
    Filled with peace and joy.
    Love is a special gift,
Not played with like a toy.
    Love is a little twig,
    Carried by a dove.
    The twig is very small,
But filled with peace and love.
    Love is like the wind,
    Getting stronger as it goes.
    To everyone on Earth,
    lots of happiness it shows.
    Love is a mighty rope,
    When unraveled, very weak.
But when the rope is tied
    Love's at its highest peak.
    Love is the moon
    Glittering on a pond.
    Between two people,
    Love's the strongest bond.

    Bài Ca Mưa Tháng Tư
Đễ mưa hôn nhé Em yêu
Đễ mưa vỗ nhẹ , giọt gieo mái đầu
Long lanh ánh bạc khoe màu .
Đễ mưa ru điệu ngọt ngào , yêu thương
Mưa thành vũng lặng bên đường ,
Mưa tuôn róc rách bờ mương thị thành .
Nhạc mưa tấu khúc mộng lành
Canh khuya trên mái âm thanh tuyệt vời
Ta yêu mưa lắm mưa ơi !

    April Rain Song
    Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head
    With silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk.
The rain makes running pools in the gutter .
The rain plays a little sleep-song
On your roof at night .
And I love the rain .
