OK, I am here to clear up any confusion :)
You''ve probably noticed that I didn''t use "bit" but I used "little" instead.
In this case LITTLE will act as an adverb/ preposition which you all know typically combines with a noun phrase to form a phrase which usually expresses a modification or predication. Therefore, the preposition AT is unnecessary.
You will encounter the phrase "feel a little awe" once in a while in the newspaper or magazine over here.
Diclaimer: I could be wrong because I didn''t claim to hold a degree in English :)

Of course! little being an adjective itself, can act alongside a noun, in this case such as ''awe''. *blinks*
The same as "I feel a little headache" Or "I feel a fish" or something similar.
My apology. However, as I said, I haven''t touched a grammar book in years. Just -feels- strange, for if I wanted to convey the same message, I would have said "I feel a slight headache -coming on-", I felt that the sentence was ''cut'' and unfinished with just that. ^^
Deepest and most sincere sorry to you.

    Hi Sil,
No apology is necessary. If I have made a mistake I will be glad to have someone to point it out to me. The only way that we and others can learn is to be able *****pport/correct each other mistake. BTW, I just want to take this oportunity to say hi to all of you since I am just a Newbie :)

I truly enjoy various debates regarding formal English, for I didn''t receive ''formal'' grammar training. I was just thrown into English, and was forced to find my ways around it, so sometimes, I overlook small grammar technicalities.
=) Welcome, Michael. Glad to have met someone with a nice attitude about it. Sometimes, it feels so competitive and hot in here..o_O..
