As it happens, I really did only just have a minute or two (even less than that) to reply, as my head was twirling in smokey circles, I hardly think that my sentences were any good. I do agree that my choices of words were extremely poor, very imformal, and not only lessen the formality of the sentences, but also make them look rather demented and disgusting.
Can I write academic essays very well? I wouldn''''''''t like to say -very well-, but if you want, I can send you a few samples. English is my second language, and I am studying in an English Literature class, in which everyone was born into English, not only that, I am doing much better than other people. So I guess I could say I do -moderately- fine.
I certainly do ''''''''chit chat'''''''' with my friends alot, but I also do write quite a few academic essays each week (I hate Shakespear -_-) . What you said wasn''''''''t ''''''''offensive'''''''' so it''''''''s fine =), makes me want to think twice about putting some time and effort before posting in this forum though. People here sure are picky and competitive.
Good luck with your future pursuations,
    Regards,
    Sil.

Could someone help me to find the equivalent in Vietnamese for the following:
    "it takes two to tango"
"there are two sides to every story"
"money is the root of all evil"
    "money talks"
"a word to the wise is sufficient"
    "give him the evil eye"
"give him enough rope and he''''ll hang himself"
"give him a taste of his own medicine"
"give him an inch and he''''ll take a mile"
"an eye for an eye (a tooth for a tooth)"
"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
"give you the benefit of the doubt"
"the best things in life are free"
"the devil makes work for idle hands"
    "don''''t give me that line/story "
"you can''''t sell anybody if you don''''t love everybody"
"you can''''t teach an old dog new tricks"
"you can''''t tell a book by its cover"
"you don''''t miss the water till the well runs dry"
"you have to be good to be lucky"
Temporarily that many first. I will have more to come.
    Thanks in advance.
