I dun know which topic I should post in so I just create a new topic here.

In everyday Eng, for a simple man knowing only simple English like me , I encounter dificulty to express my idea clearly, especially some specific words. Therefore I create this topic as I think it will be benefical for beginners and ppl like me.

I start with some simple words :

1) "rau muống":

I just happen to know from a Sing friend that this is called "kang kong" in Sing, and it has its own word in Mandarin, but wat abt in standard English ?

2) anyone knows the expression: "without reserve" in the context:

Even where the auction is expressly said to be ''without reserve'' ...
