FAC-M (Fast Attack Craft - Missile)

Trong lĩnh vực tầu tàng hình có 3 nước chủ yếu là Pháp, Nga và Mỹ-nước đầu tiên đóng tầu tàng hình là Pháp-đó là (La Fayette, F710), (Surcoef, F711) , (Courbet, F712) vào 1988г , Aconit (F713) и Guepratte (F 714) vào 1992. Mặc dù đây là khu trục hạm nặng 3500 tấn với thiết kế hình dáng theo kiểu tàng hình nhưng công nghệ tàng hình lại là dùng sơn phủ lên để nuốt các sóng ra-đa-có lẽ làm nhớ lại công nghệ của hãng Mig của Nga dÙng cho Mig-21-93.
Các tầu này có 8 tên lửa chống tầu (Exocet) MM40 có tầm bắn 70 km và tên lửa phòng không -24 quả (Crotale Naval CN2). với tầm bắn 13 km, 1 pháo 100mm
và 2 pháo 20 mm.Tầu có bãi đỗ cho máy bay lên thẳng loại AS 565 MA Panther, SA 321G Super Frelon hoặc NH 90

Về tầu Scorpion của Nga là loại tầu nhỏ 365 tấn được đóng theo công nghệ tàng hình ,tiên tiến có tốc độ cao -40 hải lý /giờ và gồm 4 loại

Riêng về Nga có một dự án đang thực hiện là đề án 20380 đóng loại tầu XXI-I, XXI-2 , XXI-3 , XXI-4. Đây là loại tầu tàng hình của Nga có trọng tải 1000 tấn , 1400 tấn và 1930 tấn.
Tôi sẽ nói về loại XXI-2 là loại mạnh nhất trong 4 loại trên và sau đó về các loại còn lại.
Với trọng tải 1930 tấn với hình dạng thuỷ lực đặc bằng nguyên liệu thép composit đặc biệt tầu có khả năng cơ động và chiến đấu cao trên biển với tốc độ 30 hải lý.Tầu có 24 ụ phóng tên lửa hành trình để dùng các tên lửa đối -bờ, đối tầu nổi và đấu tầu ngầm, để bắn lên bờ lần đầu tiên người Nga bố trí tên lửa hành trình cực chính xác tầm xa loại Kalibr-NKE, còn dùng để đánh tầu thì dùng loại tên lửa Yakhont và ?.
Để phòng không tầu XXI-2 có trang bị 16 tên lửa S-300F (hay S-300FM)- RIF-M
Ngoài ra tầu có 8 ngư lôi 324 mm, một đại bác 100 mm A-1EO , 2-đại bác 6 nòng 30 mm, một máy bay lên thẳng K-27.
Với loại XXI-1 cũng là 1930 tấn nhưng hệ thống phòng không dùng hệ thống tên lửa « Klinok »-32 quả, còn lại cũng như XXI-2
Loại XXI-3 có trọng tải 1500 tấn còn XXI-4 là 1000 tấn-hai loại này dùng tên lửa Uran -8 quả,còn tên lửa -pháo cao xạ-phòng không là « Kashtan » có 4 ụ phóng- 8 quả .Loại XXI-4 không có trực thăng.Còn lại cũng như loại XXI-2.
Nga làm nhiều loại như vậy là để sau này còn chào xuất khẩu theo nhu càu và giá cả khác nhau.Hình như bây giờ hải quân Nga đặt hàng có 16 chiếc giao vào 2003-2004.
Ở đây ta thấy loại XXI-1 và XXI-2 là loại mạnh có khả năng tấn công các mục tiêu trên bờ bằng vũ khí chính xác từ tầm xa bằng tên lửa hành trình Kalibr-NKE , còn hệ thống tên lửa Yakhont có khả năng tiêu diệt mục tiêu trên biển với tầm 350 km-loại này cũng như Moskit hầu như ít ai có thể đánh chặn được.Với hệ thống phòng không Rif-M (S-300FM) thì có thể phòng chống cả tên lửa đạn đạo.

In the late 1950s, fast attack missile craft designed by the Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau , revolutionized naval warfare. This was vividly demonstrated in October 1967 when Israel?Ts Eilat destroyer was sunk by Egypt?Ts 183R Komar-class fast missile craft.
Fast attack craft armed with antiship missiles can challenge frigate-class ships, although their construction and operating costs are 50-75 percent lower than those of larger surface combatants. In ad***ion, in closed seas, narrow straits and shallow waters, fast missile craft have several advantages over larger ships, such as higher speed, better maneuvering and concealment.
These advantages are decisive for countries which cannot maintain task forces of large surface combatants. This is why fast attack missile craft represent the backbone of surface forces in the navies of Norway, Denmark, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, South Korea, former Warsaw Pact countries, as well as in over 40 countries of Asia, Africa and South America. In peace time, these ships are used for patrol missions and sometimes called fast patrol missile craft.

Fast attack missile craft which are in service in the above-mentioned countries (excluding Norway, Denmark and Israel) were mostly imported from France, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, China, the USA, and the USSR from 1970 through 1985. As these ships have a service life of 20 to 25 years, approximately 60 to 70 percent of them will have to be replaced beginning with 2000. Consequently, major missile craft builders, such as Vosper Thornycroft (Britain), Lurssen (Germany), Construction Mecaniques de Normandie (France) are developing new projects, among them Combattante IV-NG, NES-300, Vita-class and others.
Between 1970 and 1985, the USSR exported approximately 150 fast attack missile craft of Osa-1 and Osa-2 classes (Projects 205 and 205ER) which successfully operated in tropical climates and displayed excellent capabilities in regular service and combat operations. Currently, Almaz offers modernization services (both at Russian and customer shipyards), as well as a new ship, Project 20970 Katran, specially designed for export.


This new craft, while retaining all advantages of Project 205 (205ER) fast attack craft (simple design, reliability, good sea-going ability, high comfort for the crew, undemanding basing and repair requirements, high operability in tropical climates), features significantly greater fire power, advanced self-defense and new radars.
Compared to Project 205 (205ER) craft, Katran?Ts fire power is increased threefold owing to the Uran-E missile system with eight 3M-24E (X-35) antiship missiles in two launchers.
Targeting is provided by the 3Ts-25E radar in active and passive modes.
Target detection ranges in active mode (target area = 10,000 m2) are as follows: 40 - 45 km (standard radar observation con***ions); 85 - 90 km (good radar observation con***ions); 260 km (super refraction con***ions).
The target detection range in passive mode is up to 350 km depending on the target radiation band and power. The radar can track up to 15 targets and engage 6 targets simultaneously. With a 180o traverse angle of launcher and the missile?Ts ±90o off-course turn, the system can engage 6 targets within a 360o sector at line-of-sight and over-horizon ranges.
The Kashtan-1 gun and missile AD system is designed for the destruction of fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, cruise missiles and guided bombs by SAMs (within a range of 1,000 - 10,000 m and at an altitude of 15 - 6,000 m) and by guns (within a range of 500 - 4,000 m and an altitude of 5 - 3,000 m). Targeting data is provided by the Pozitiv-ME1.1 three-dimentional active radar which has a target detection range of 15 to 110 km and can track up to 30 targets simultaneously.
Surface and coastal targets can be also engaged by the Vikhr-K gun and missile system which can effectively destroy targets day and night by the Vikhr-K missiles (over a range of 10 km) and the GSh-6-30L 30mm gun (over a range of 4 km with a kill probability of 0.75 - 0.9).
The low-cost steel hull of the craft, powered by three diesel engines 4,800 hp each, is optimally shaped to ensure a maximum speed of 35 knots and a range of 2,200 miles at 14 knots.
The architecture of the hull and superstructure incorporates the latest achievements in stealth technology which provides for low radar and IR signature.
Katran?Ts dimensions are almost similar to those of Project 205 (205ER) fast attack missile craft
The Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau offers its new project on the international market and welcomes all interested parties for cooperation.

Two RBOC chaff launchers are provided to protect the boat from hostile radar tracking and visual observation.

Two M15E1 gas turbine installations are used as the boat's propulsion plant. Each gas turbine installation comprises two propulsion units powering the propellers via reduction gear when aheading or astering.
The propulsion plant comprises two cruise engines with reduction gears and two full speed engines with their respective reduction gears.
The total maximum power output delivered by all turbines jointly operated under tropical con***ions is 24000 hp (17420 kW).
