Recently, many English language centers have been founded, more and more English native speakers have come and taught in Vietnam. But I wonder whether it's worth to pay a lot of money to study with a native teacher, and who are better, more effective, native English teachers or Vietnamese teachers?

    Native English teachers:
+: good pronunciation; good knowledge about their culture
-: that they didn't learn E as a second/foreign language like us; expensive

    Vietnamese teachers:
+: that they learned E as a second/foreign language like us, so they know our difficulties in learning E; not expensive
-: pronunciation (only few of them have good pronunciation, I think, but we can use CDs and cassette tapes); sometimes write/say things that grammatically correct but English speakers don't speak like that.

I hope you would discuss the good and bad points of them, and who do you prefer? In each English courses (general English, IELTS, TOEFL preparation), who do you want to teach you?

I prefer English tearcher to Vnese teacher coz
firstly, E teachers speak and use correctly E as their mother language, especially in grammar.
Not only that but also, they 're very friendly ,funny and active... they make the lessons more simple and fun for u to study in a best way.
In some free discuss, they always talk bout the culture, the ways of thinking... make a comparison between American or British and Vnese. I think it's a good way to broaden ur knowledge...
I have some native E teacher and one of them is now my good friend. He help me whenever i need... a kind and friendly guy...

In an opposing side,i prefer Vietnamese E teachers to the native ones.you see, they can help us by answer our questions and explain more thoroughly ex:if u don't know the word "startle" 's meaning ,the teacher 'd tell u what it means and then the antonyms and synonyms of it(the native one 'd think that we already known it,i've studied at VUS and found that the teacher there sometimes don't understand us,so how can they help us to come over our problems?).On the other hand,i like them coz they can tell jokes, present us some good film or cool music ,etc in order to make us feel relax.
Maybe there are some mistakes in my passage above so i'll appreciate your not debugging.
