Fortune Teller



According to Wikipedia, a fortune teller is someone who practices fortune-telling, but the term may also refer to. Fortune-telling is the practice of predicting information about a person's life, often commercially. The person does this much the same way that a psychologist would. They look at particular factors that suggest what a person is likely to do in the future. They start by naming general characteristics that are specific to most people. Then they make determinations based on the person's answers. A 'psychic' is more aptly called a mentalist. Some fortune tellers may think that there is an anamistic quality (seeing connections where there are none) to what they are doing (and thus delude themselves into thinking that there is a "magical" process going on. But what the real purpose of a person who is doing this for money (is to make you believe that there is something magical about it).


1. What do you know about fortune teller? Is it the same with this above definition?
2. Can a fortune teller really predict your future? Should you trust a fortune teller?
3. Do you know any interesting stories related to fortune tellers? Share with your friends
4. Is there anyone in your family a little obsessed with reading or believing things like that? If so, any troubles?

Sorry if my feedback hurt anyone, especially the new lovely MC. I admit it was an impulse when I wrote it, but I did tone it down with a friendly way of expression. Anyway damage is done, though I would very much like to take it back

Here is the business-like version of my feedback

"I am disappointed with the club's choice of topic this week. Compare to your usual selection, this one is plainly not as good. Hope you understand that I may not be the only one who think the same, that to tap on feedback is one of the ways to improve. If you mind it too much, I am happy to take my business elsewhere."

Thx man, I am not a hero but neither a villian. Streamlined communication is in my checklist.

My favourite qoute "If someone praise me, I think he does not know what he talks about. If he criticise me, I think he can teach me a thing or two."
