It''s been 5 sessions of traning since we started. And we''ve been through a lot of fun and exciting activities. Finally, friendship and knowledge are what i''ve got after all the we trained together. And This Sunday, 02 Aug. 09 will be our Closing Session for MC Training Course. I hope that everybody who had join the training could show up on this coming Sunday.

Just get back from MC training!!! It was an exhausting day for me, however, we''d a lot of fun. Unfortunately, no one bought a camera to picture the very last moment of MC training course. But for sure, this wont be the last for FTL or English community.
I wil never forget:

Continue to MC training course, the Future Link Network will hold an event: MC Contest in 2009.
Schedule of this contest is as follows:
Title: MC Contest, a real chance for all.
Sponsored by IELTS Academy centre
Objectives:
1. To get closer between ECs in Hanoi
2. To encourage MCs in holding events of ECs
3. To find out the best MC couple within ECs community
- Registration: open from 1st August to 15th August; Up to 20 couples of MC (40 MCs). If you couldn''t find out any partner, please don''t hesitate to register because we will give you a hand in this case.

- Round 1: Dual-MC in ECs. From 16th August to 11th September. Each couple will be MCs of any EC in Hanoi except their own EC. There''re two main types of event that every couple has to hold by themselves:
+ Talk show (within 90 mins)
+ Game show (within 90 mins)
After Round 1, 20 MCs will be chosen according to total mark of both examiners and audiences.
- Round 2: Presentation a specific topic. 13th September. Each MC will have only one day to prepare for a presentation about a randomly chosen specific topic (the MC will get the topic right after finishing the first round). You then present it individually within 5 mins and answer some questions of examiners in 5 mins (10 mins/each MC). In round 2, we don''t open for audience.
After Round 2, 10 MCs will be chosen according to total mark of both round 1 and round 2.
- Round 3: Final night. 20th September. It will be a big show of all the left 10 MCs. Undoubtly, all of them will get worthy prizes (will be listed below). Especially, a half of money collected from selling ticket of the final round will be used for charity.
In round 3 we also have songs and music.
The first prize (01 for 2 MCs): a 5 days and 4 nights trip to Malaysia-Singapore for 2 best MCs.
The second prize (01 for 2 MCs): 2 full scholarships IELTS Advanced course, 300 USD/each course and 1 million VND for both.
The third prize (01 for 2MCs): 2 half scholarships IELTS Advanced course, 150 USD/each course and 1 million VND for both.
The consolation prize (02 for 4MCs): rewards of sponsor and 1 million VND for both.
Agenda of the contest will be sent to you before 10th August.
All in all, it''s really a good chance for ECs to get closer each other, to make new friends, and to build up a real Network between us.
Please register asap so that we can arrange time, date and place for Round 1.

OH MY GODNESS!!! HOW WORTHY IT IS!!!!

mọi ng` ơi cho em hỏi : hum trc có bảo là thi làm cả Game Show lẫn Talk Show ở các EC... Thông thường các EC chỉ sinh hoạt khoảng 2 tiếng mà ở trên kia ghi là mỗi Show tận những 90phút Hok bit có ghi nhầm hay ko mà nhiều thế
Ai đó confirm lại cho e bít cái ... Làm cả 2 show 1 buổi hay chọn 1 trong 2... Thời gian như thế nào

Trong một buổi chỉ làm Game Show hoặc Talk Show thôi. Không phải làm cả 2. Thời gian 90'' dành cho 1 Game Show hoặc Talk Show là vừa đủ. Các bạn cũng nên chú ý độ dài của chương trình để thiết kế show. Các bạn đăng ký càng sớm sẽ được biết trước hình thức show và topic phải làm.
