E thì lại nghĩ là 90'' mà chỉ làm 1 Game Show hoặc Talk Show là hơi nhiều... Các show truyền hình đc đầu tư và chuẩn bị kĩ lưỡng cũng thường chỉ 1 tiếng chưa kể quảng cáo Giá mà kết hợp đc cả 2 show trong 1 buổi cũng có vẻ hợp lý, vì thông thường các buổi của EC cũng có cả Game lẫn Talk. Anyway thì quyết định vẫn là ở BTC

Sau khi BTC can nhac ve y kien cua ban Pippo Nguyen cung nhu y kien thao luan, moi nguoi da co nhung thay doi ve Rule cho Round 1 de phu hop hon.
Thong tin chi tiet se duoc publish muộn nhất là ngày 9/8/09 (trước khi vòng 1 diễn ra 1 tuần).

INVITATION LETTER FOR MC CONTEST 2009
Dear ECs,
Firstly, warmly welcome you to Future Link Network - for ECs in Hanoi.
In August we will hold a big event: the MC Contest open for all English Lovers in Hanoi. Schedule of this contest is as follows:
Title: MC Contest, a real chance for all.
Sponsored by IELTS Academy centre
Objectives:
1. To get closer between ECs in Hanoi
2. To encourage MCs in holding events of ECs
3. To find out the best MC couple within ECs community
- Registration: open from 1st August to 15th August; Up to 20 couples of MC (40 MCs). If you couldn''''t find out any partner, please don''''t hesitate to register because we will give you a hand in this case.

I. Round 1 - Game show & Talk show
Each couple will be given a topic and they have to come up with a 45 minutes program which included Talk show and Game.
Time: Every Saturday and Sunday from 16th August to 11th September 2009.
Venue: English Clubs around Hanoi.
20 MCs will be chosen according to total mark from both examiners and audiences.
II. Round 2 ?" Examiner?Ts interview.
Each MC will have to prepare a presentation about a randomly chosen topic. Topic will be given 5 days in advance. 5 minutes is the total time for presentation and examiners will conduct a quick interview for another 5 mintues. In round 2, we don''''t open for audience.
Time: 13th September 2009
Venue: IELTS Speaking Club ?" 850 Lang Street, Dong Da, Hanoi
10 best MCs will be chosen to move on to the Finale Night.
III. Round 3: Finale Night
It will be a big show to find out the best MC couple. 10 remaining MCs will be judged in the following skills:
- Monologue
- Quick interview
- Problem solving
PRIZE
- The first prize - a 5 days and 4 nights trip to Malaysia-Singapore for 2 best MCs.
- The second prize - 02 full scholarships IELTS Advanced course, 300 USD/each course and cash.
- The third prize: 02 partial scholarships IELTS Advanced course, 150 USD/each course and cash.
- The consolation prize - rewards of sponsor and cash.
Agenda of the contest will be sent to you before 10th August.
All in all, it''''s really a good chance for ECs to get closer each other, to make new friends, and to build up a real Network between us.

just a question, could you explain what does the "talkshow" mean here? what should the candidates do in details? for a talkshow is only a conversation between MCs and the guests, while we just have members of an english club, and they come there to practise english, not to be the audiences.

Talk show là một trong những nội dung của chương trình đào tạo MC miễn phí của FTL Network. Các bạn chưa hiểu về hình thức này có thể yên tâm tham gia vì chúng tôi sẽ có một buổi hướng dẫn trước khi các bạn tổ chức Show. Tuần này các cặp MC đầu tiên sẽ được hướng dẫn vào t4. Chi tiết đã gửi thông báo đến từng cặp MC đầu tiên thi vào ngày 16/8. Lịch sơ lược tuần 1 sẽ được gửi đến các bạn.
