Future shock --- Are you prepared?

I've heard people talking too much about culture shock when travelling from one country to another. However, there is another kind of shock which also has something to do with your travelling but not through space but through time: future shock. When compared to culture shock or any other kinds of shock, future shock ranks first in terms of frequency (it happens all the time, every single minute or second), and in terms of level of difficulty to overcome.

The world is changing so fast. If you do not try to update yourself to-the-second, you will run the risk of being outdated. So to some extent, future shock is a constant fear and threat that everyone of us must face.
