Su-35 Airplane to Be in Demand in Domestic and Export Markets
The Su-35 (Su-27SM2) fighter, which the Sukhoy OKB is developing, will be in demand not only by the Russian air force, but also by foreign customers, the general director of the Sukhoy Aviation Holding Company, Mikhail Pogosyan, has declared.
?oWe thing that the new airplane should be produced for the Russian air force in the Su-27SM2 ?otechnical aspect.? Work in this direction is underway actively, inasmuch as the aircraft will be in demand both in Russia and abroad,? M. Pogosyan told Interfax-AVN.
According to him, ?othe need for replacement in the future of the existing fleet of Su-27 type fighters will require marketing in the period approximately of 2009 ?" 2010 along with the upgrade and overhauls and the order of new airplanes for the Russian air force.?
M. Pogosyan noted that in the draft of the Russia?Ts state arms program to 2015, all emphasis will be arranged neatly on the developments and purchases of aviation equipment, based on the volumes of financing.
?oThe Su-27SM2 is the next stage with a transition to new sensors and phased antenna array of the aircraft radar (RLS),? the Sukhoy AkhK general director emphasized.
In the opinions of specialists, the Su-27SM2 fighter, which is intended for Russia?Ts air force (the export variant is the Su-35) is a heavy upgrade of the Su-27/27SM fighters. The installation on the fighter of new aircraft engines with a thrust up to 14 tonnes (instead of 12.5 tonnes) and new aircraft equipment, including the ?oIrbis? aircraft radar, will be a distinguishing feature of the Su-27SM2. The fighter also is supposed to receive new long-range missiles of a different class.
It is planned that the Su-27SM2 will be a step in the creation of the future tactical aviation aircraft complex, in as much as on it many proposals for the fifth generation combat airplane will be perfected, Interfax notes.

Các bạn lại bàn sai rồi.Iran trước đây sài vũ khí Mỹ sau này lại dùng hàng TQ và BTT.Bây giờ mới nhập một ít vũ khí Nga (kể cả một số vũ khí Nga lấy của Iraq ).Nói chung ngoài nghìn tăng và tên lửa mới của họ thì quân sự không mạnh lắm.Các bạn Post vào linhk sau

Trước đây các bạn đã tranh luận rất tuyệt về F-22, đã lâu lắm không thấy ai lên tiếng-Gần đây Mỹ đã đưa ra chiếc máy bay F-35 đầu tiên và sắp bay thử nghiệm-sức mạnh củ nó vậy dựa vào sự hiện đại của hệ thống điện tử và rađa còn vũ khí lại còn ít hơn cả F-22 cũng là chyuện khó hiểu có lẽ Mỹ dựa vào máy bay đông hay trên thế giới lực lượng quân sự của nhiều nước qua kém hay là kỹ thuật của Mỹ còn nhiều điều chưa giải quyết ngay được.

Máy bay F-35 vừa ra đời thì đã lắm chuyện mè nheo.Theo kế hoạch sẽ có 3 loại máy bay F-35 một cho không quân một cho hải quân còn lại cho bộ binh nhưng do giá thành ngày càng cao và độ tàng hình không như mong muốn Mỹ lại muốn cắt giảm máy bay F-35 còn nhiều nước đã đầu tư vào dự án F-35 đâng ngó nghiêng tìm nguồn máy bay khác.Kể ra cũng lắm chuyện.
WASHINGTON: The Pentagon is seeking to cancel the Air Force version of Lockheed Martin Corp.''s F-35, the world''s biggest fighter program, a leading defense consultant said Friday.
Gordon England, acting deputy secretary of defense, "is pushing to eliminate one of the three aircraft versions, and the Air Force version is his preferred kill" as a short-term economy measure, said Loren Thompson, citing discussions with senior Pentagon and industry officials.
Thompson is chief operating officer of the Arlington, Virginia-based Lexington Institute, a research group with close ties to the defense establishment.
Loss of the Air Force variant would be a blow to Lockheed which expects to export that version, in particular, for decades to come.
Eight countries have joined the United States to co-develop the F-35, also known as the Joint Strike Fighter. With a projected total program cost of more than $250 billion, it involves what would be the Pentagon''s most expensive acquisition to date and a symbol of international cooperation.
The co-development partners are Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Denmark and Norway.
If cut, the likely beneficiaries would be France''s Rafale fighter, built by Dassault Aviation (AVMD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) ; Eurofighter, a product of Finmeccanica, BAE Systems and EADS; plus Gripen, built by Saab and BAE Systems.
The radar-evading F-35 was designed to serve the U.S. Air Force with a standard model; the Navy, with a sturdier one for aircraft-carrier landings; and the Marines, with a short take off and landing "jump jet"-style variant.
England wants the Air Force to buy the Navy version instead of getting its own, said Thompson.
In an Oct. 19 memorandum, England ordered military leaders to find $32 billion in cuts over the next five years and said they might have to dig even deeper as President Bush''s fiscal 2007 budget proposal takes shape.
No final decisions would be made until a high-level meeting on Monday, England wrote at the time. The White House is due to send its final budget goals to this session.
Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, a spokesman for England, declined to comment on belt-tightening measures under study in the so-called Quadrennial Defense Review, a strategy analysis done every four years and due to go to Congress in coming months.
A knowledgeable Pentagon official noted that England, as secretary of the Navy, had integrated the Navy and Marine Corps aviation programs starting in 2002. Consolidating a number of air wings, he has been cre***ed with saving "billions of dollars," said this official who asked not to be named.
Lockheed Martin has not been notified of any changes to its programs, said John Smith, a spokesman in Fort Worth, where the fighters are being assembled.
Apart from Britain, which plans to buy the vertical-takeoff variant, all international partners plan to buy the Air Force model, said Richard Aboulafia of Teal Group, a Fairfax, Virginia, aerospace consultancy.
Aboulafia said a decision to scrap the Air Force version would save a "couple billion" in development costs but eat into U.S. dominance of fighter-export markets for years to come.
Christopher Bolckom, top warplane expert with the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service, said he expected any push to kill the Air Force version to meet resistance in Congress and among co-development partners.
