As he says, this interest ?ohas been confirmed during negotiations at various management levels". ?oI think, that in the foreseeable future, as it seems to me before current year expires, we shall have some intermediate results achieved in this matter,? A. Klementev stated.
    Answering a question on tentative dates when Su-35s may be delivered to Venezuela, he said: ?oIt is difficult to comment on this issue, as Rosoboronexport company is directly responsible for promoting military equipment items ".?Everything, that depends on us, we do in full scope,? Sukhoi AHC deputy director general specified. He announced, that a model of a super-maneuverable multifunctional fighter of Su-35 series would be exhibited on Sukhoi AHC exposition site at 14th International Air & Space Fair FIDAE-2006 to be held in Santyago (Chile) 27.03-02.04 2006. ?oSu-35 is a machine, which we put a stake on, while entering new markets and promoting our advanced products there,? A. Klementev noted. According to experts, Su-35 fighter is a profoundly modified design of Su-27/27SM prototypes. Su-35 is featured by a new air engine to be installed, having thrust as much as 14 tons (rather than 12.5 ton), and a new airborne equipment, including Irbis onboard radar. The fighter is also to be armed with new missiles of different class.

    Ukraine air crash pilots jailed

    The crash left 77 dead and hundreds injured
    A military court in Ukraine has jailed two pilots whose plane ploughed into the crowd at an airshow near Lviv in 2002, killing 77 people.
    The jet''''''''s pilot, Volodymyr Toponar, and his co-pilot Yury Yegorov, who both ejected and survived, were sentenced to 14 years and eight years respectively.
    Toponar was found guilty of negligence and violating flight rules.
    Two of his senior military officials and a flight security official were also jailed.
    Seventy-seven people - including 23 children - died and nearly 300 were wounded at the show in western Ukraine when the Su-27 jet cart-wheeled into the crowds in a ball of flame after a manoeuvre went wrong.
    An inquiry into the accident found that the crash happened because the pilots had tried to pull off a risky manoeuvre at a low altitude. Officials in charge were blamed for failing to stop the flight in time and secure a sufficient security zone.
    According to AP, Toponar said that he did not blame himself for the deaths. He claimed technical problems and a faulty flight plan were to blame.
    As well as the jail term, he was ordered to pay 7.2m hryvnas ($1.4m; £768,000) and Yegorov must pay 2.46m hryvnas ($500,000; £274,000) towards the government compensation for victims.

    Hill begins modifications on F-22A Raptor
    A new era is under way for members of the 309th Maintenance Group here as they modify their first F-22A Raptor.
    18-04-2006 - HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- This was the first of 12 to 14 aircraft scheduled to visit Hill this year for minor modifications. A total of 18 are contracted to undergo work here.
    "We''re excited," said Guy Phillips, F-22 maintenance squadron director for the 309th MXG, about its new customer. "Most of us are a little apprehensive, but are well prepared and have lots of experience on aircraft. We''re also confident that, with the experienced Lockheed contractors training us, we''ll establish our comfort zone and reduce our training curve quickly."
    Maj. Evan Dertien flew the aircraft from Langley Air Force Base, Va., to Hill for the modifications, and was met by a group of local media representatives interested in everything from the Raptor''s increased capabilities to how comfortable it was to fly.
    "It''s really very comfortable," Major Dertien said. "There''s nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Flying it is a dream come true for me, having heard about it during its initial development stage years ago."
    The major said even its closest rivals aren''t in the same league. The Raptor combines sensor capability, integrated avionics, situational awareness and weaponry, providing pilots first-kill opportunity against threats airborne or on the ground. F-22 pilots use a sophisticated sensor suite to track, identify, shoot and kill air-to-air threats before being detected.
    "We can track targets and initiate contact before they even know we''re in the area," Major Dertien said. "By the time they realize we''ve engaged it''s too late."
    According to Mr. Phillips, each F-22 should spend 35 days here.
    "Our first modification is night air-to-air refueling designed to enhance the boom operator''s night vision and receptacle location while performing in-flight refueling."
    Mr. Phillips said the first three aircraft will be modified by one shift due to ongoing training, but the remainder will be modified by two shifts.
    Many of the maintainers attended classes at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., to bring them up to speed, in preparation of the F-22''s arrival.
    "(The Nellis instructors) have been excellent to gear up and train not only the depot civilians, but also our 649th Combat Logistics Support Squadron here that is part of our F-22 team," Mr. Phillips said. "Due to the complex nature and constant advancements in aircraft technology, our people are always being trained and certified. Our on-the-job training is being provided by Lockheed Martin and Boeing, the original manufacturers of the Raptor."

    While there is no Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) export ''variant'' as such, it is apparent from a review of open sources that it would be practical to deliver JSFs in different configurations with different signatures to match national operational requirements documents, protecting US and UK aircraft from any compromise of their own low-observable O) systems.
    Stealth is not like the mythical ring of invisibility in JRR Tolkien''s Lord of the Rings: it is not a single feature that confers invisibility. It is a blend of things on the aircraft that are obviously technologies that are generic and quite widely used and understood; components which are unique and exotic; and some features that are not visible on the aircraft at all but are nevertheless crucial to making the LO system work.
    Building less-stealthy JSFs for export has been considered. One source close to the JSF programme has said that the US Department of Defense''s theatre commanders-in-chief have advocated a single JSF configuration, because multiple levels of LO would complicate joint operations.
    The LO community itself - covering JSF, F-22 and other programmes - opposed this view, fearing technology compromise.
    "The commanders in the field want coalition allies to have highly capable aircraft. It''s the lower level people who don''t want to share the technology," the source said.
    Further complicating this issue is that the rules on the export of stealth technologies, as well as of dual-use technologies that are important to stealth, are not made by the JSF programme office but by senior Pentagon leaders who define disclosure policy with the help of the Low Observables Executive Committee (LO-EXCOM). The EXCOM includes representatives from the services, intelligence agencies and all major stealth programmes, including ''black'' or unacknowledged programmes.

    An official delegation of Venezuelan air force visited Russia with purpose to study in detail multi-purpose planes of Su-35 and Su-30MK2 series, Sukhoi aircraft holding company director for regional and marketing management in Latin American countries and for advertisement and exhibition activity Vladimir Kolnootchenko informed
    On his words, the delegation visited Komsomolsk-on-Amur aircraft industrial amalgamation (Russian acronym KnAAPO), and a number of enterprises, which are involved in cooperation to manufacture Su-35 and Su-30MK2 planes. Three pilots were the delegation members, they tested ?~Sukhoi?T planes in air. ?oUpon results of the visit a report was drawn up, which was forwarded to higher concerned offices and is examined by Venezuelan air force command at present,? V. Kolnootchenko noted. ?oReferences and accounts of Venezuelan delegation have been most positive,? he emphasized.
    An Intergovernmental committee protocol was drawn up and signed at high level by vice-president on behalf of Venezuelan party and by first vice-premier Zhukov on behalf of Russian party. In V. Kolnootchenko?Ts opinion, the potential buyers of Su-35s and Su-30s in Latin America are Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile and Peru. Even those countries, which have bought new aircraft now, Chile, for example, they will initiate again negotiations in 5-10 year time to upgrade air fleet, and Sukhoi company , by participating in the Fair FIDAE 2006, confirms its intention to compete with western suppliers in the markets of the said countries

    lần trước thấy bọn Nhật phát minh ra áo mưa " tàng hình " có thể nhìn xuyên suốt qua ( thực chất là chiếu hình ảnh phía mặt trước ra mặt sau của áo ), không hiểu áp dụng vào các máy bay như F-117, B2, F35 thì hiệu quả thế nào nhỉ ? nhưng chắc làm được thì cũng còn lâu

    Đây là một trò chơi. Người ta bố trí camera và máy chiếu, chiếu lên "áo mưa" cảnh nó chắn phía trước, làm nười quan sát có thể lẫn lộn "áo mưa" với cảnh vật xung quanh. Con tắc kè cũng vậy, nó tự đổi mầu lẫn với cảnh xung quanh.
    Máy bay "tành hình" không liên quan gì đến nững trò chơi này. Khái niệm tàng hình máy bay tức là làm nó giảm phản xạ sóng radar. Điều này hoàn toàn khác với đổi mầu. Sóng radar dùng trong đối không thường có bước sóng 3cm (sóng radio), còn trờ đổi mầu trên chỉ ảnh hưởng dến ánh sáng.
    Một máy bay trinh sát thử nghiệm Mỹ cũng thử nghiệm đổi mầu để giấmc suất phát hiện bằng mắt thường . Đầy là một loai máy bay trinh sát không người lái tành hình. Nưng đã nói trên, tàng hình không liên quian gì đến đổi mầu. Ngoài chống radar máy bay được thiết kế giảm tiếng ồn động cơ, tự đổi mầu sơn.... do nó bay rất chậm và thấp, thời gian hoạt động lâu. Mầu sơn đổi được dựa vào hiệ ứng thay thổi độ trong suốt của linh kiện bán dẫn (tương tự LCD). Bird of Prey . Chương trình đã dừng. Nguyên nhân chủ yếu ở khó khăn khi thiết kế động cơ nhỏ tiết kiệm dầu.

    Máy bay F-22 cũng giảm tiếng ồn động cơ và sơn mầu dễ lẫn trong đêm tối (màu cố định). Các máy bay chiến đấu tiền tuyến Nga đôi khi dùng mày sơn nguỵ trang, Các máy bay này có càng khoẻ, dung trên sân bay dã chiến, nên đôi khi cũng sơn màu rằn ri.
    Trong chiến tranh Việt Nam, súng các nhân và súng phòng không tầm thấp bắn mắt thường có tác dụng mạnh.
