I got some ideas to share: In my opinion, this is two - sided thesis topic; However, under the context of the oriental culture, we appreciate the teaching of values like the motto "Learn values first, then the skills". Because:
1. The basic target of the educational system is to equip people with the understanding and the awareness of being a man (the responsibility, the ethical codes, the decent behaviours in the society...).
2. Most of educated people could differentiate the rightness from the wrongness; therefore, they could behave in the good manner. This is the requisite stage that People should pass before they acquire the necessary skills for their lives.
3. However, the modern methods of education shoul combine between the learning of values and the learning of skills in order to achieve the so - called "The perfect man" with the good understanding of social values and the capacity to dealt with the issues in the society.
