Cũng dễ hiểu thôi ...ngay cả MK3 đang sống tại Mỹ cả bao nhiêu năm nay ...mình vẫn có thể ghét "Mỹ" (nói riêng là không đồng ý với và ghét ông tông tông bụi cây bush) về những cái xấu của "Mỹ" , như hay đi gây chiến tranh gieo máu lửa với các nuớc khác chắng hạn, nhưng chọn Mỹ để đi du học vì kỹ thuật khoa học của Mỹ tương đối cao trong các nước Tây Âu và nếu chọn để định cư vì tiện nghi vật chất của nó ít nuớc nào so bằng (thức ăn và các thứ tương đối rẻ so với các nuớc khác). Và về mặt Tự Do suy nghĩ và phát biểu ý kiến chả ai để ý đến mình cả (việc này có lẽ hơi sai sau vụ 9-11 !)

Cô ta ăn cắp hàng triệu đô la của ông chủ trong suốt 2 năm liền mà ông chủ không hay biết. chỉ đến khi ông chủ viết cái chi phiếu $1 triệu đô la để tặng cho trường cũ Harvard thì thấy check bị bounced vì thiếu hụt tiền lúc đó mời kiểm tra lý do tại sao tài khoản của một người như ông mà không trả nổi cái check $1 triệu.
Luật sư của cô thư ký biện hộ tại tào là cô thư ký bị thần kinh do làm việc quá căng thẳng và đã từng phải nhập viện gặp bác sỹ tâm lý cho nên đã có phản ứng khi thấy mình làm việc vất vả mà được ít tiền trong khi ông chủ chỉ đi chơi mà lại có một lối sống xa hoa vương giả. Cho nên cô ta đã lấy tiền của ông chủ để mau vài chục căn nhà, trong đó có căn nhà trị giá đến $1,3 triệu, mua cái xe hơi $300 nghìn, mua du thuyền, hạt xoàn và nữ trang của Cartier, thậm chí còn được bạn bè họ hàng mệnh danh là Robin Hood vì đã lấy tiền của "người giầu" để giúp cho bạn bè mua nhà bằng tiền mặt hoặc trả đứt nợ nần. Lúc đầu cô ta chỉ viết cái check có mệnh giá vài nghìn nhưng thấy ông chủ có nhiều tiền quá mà không hay biết cho nên cô ta cứ làm tới và đang định "nghỉ hưu sớm" thì bị ông chủ phát hiện.

A former personal assistant at investment bank Goldman Sachs faces jail after being found guilty of stealing more than 4 million pounds ($11.3 million) from her banker bosses following a headline-grabbing three-month trial.

Joyti De-Laurey, 35, was found guilty by an 11 to 1 majority on all 20 counts of using false cheques or obtaining money transfers by deception.

She will be sentenced on June 14 on the charges which each carry a maximum sentence of 10 years. Police say she could be looking at least 6 years in jail, where she will be staying after being refused bail.

Judge Christopher Elwen said bail would be a serious risk given De-Laurey had been shown to be "dishonest, deceitful and untrustworthy" through evidence at the trial.

De-Laurey showed little emotion when the verdict was read out.

The trial at London''s Southwark Crown Court captured the attention of the media, with its details of De-Laurey''s lavish spending and the fairy-tale wealth of the bankers she robbed.

Former Goldman Sachs banker Scott Mead, who had more than three million pounds stolen from his accounts by De-Laurey, accused his former personal assistant of threatening him with embarrassing personal revelations before the trial.

"Joyti De-Laurey has mounted a vindictive and implausible defence in which she and her team of lawyers attempted to put the victims on trial," Mead said in a statement after the verdict was delivered.

De-Laurey defrauded her employers by e-mailing or faxing instructions to Goldman''s New York headquarters to move cash from the bankers'' investment accounts to their cheque or checking accounts.

Once the money was transferred, she would forge signatures on cheques or transfers, or add fund transfers to requests her bosses had already signed for.

Her husband Anthony, 50, a former Ministry of Defence police officer, was found guilty of four out of eight charges relating to the retention of proceeds of the fraud.

De-Laurey''s mother Devi Schahhou, 67, was found guilty of four out of five of the same charges relating to the retention of stolen money. Schahhou, who is a doctor in North London, held her head in her hands when the verdict was read out.

Both were granted con***ional bail.

Spending spree

During the trial, the court heard how De-Laurey went on a spending spree with the stolen cash, buying more than 380,000 pounds worth of Cartier jewellery, a power boat and a villa in Cyprus.

When arrested in May 2002, De-Laurey had an interest in 11 properties and an order for a 175,000 pound Aston Martin car.

She also took a trip to an upmarket Beverly Hills hotel after telling her bosses she was undergoing a hysterectomy. She borrowed 40,000 pounds interest-free from Jennifer Moses, one of the bankers she worked for, and then paid it back with cash she had pilfered from Moses'' account.

De-Laurey, a mother of one, wrote letters to God asking for divine intervention to stop her scams being detected and that her reputation at Goldman Sachs remain unblemished.

A Goldman Sachs spokesman said: "The theft was a gross abuse of trust and an extremely unpleasant incident for all those affected."

De Laurey''s defence portrayed the bankers she stole from as demanding super-rich corporate financiers who were lax and naive when it came to their own finances.

The defence argued that two of the bankers, husband and wife Ron Beller and Jennifer Moses had allowed De-Laurey to forge signatures to pay her for managing their busy lifestyles. Mead, her lawyers said, was rewarding her for covering up an affair he was having at the time. All three rejected these suggestions.

De-Laurey worked at Goldman for four years, starting in May 1998 on a temporary basis.

Police said they had never before seen anything on the scale of De-Laurey''s crimes, even though theft by employees is an increasing fact of life in London''s financial district.

One police officer involved in the case described De-Laurey as a bold character who greed had got the better of.

"Her actions were very calculated and dishonest," said Detective Constable Malcolm Driscoll of the City of London police force.

With the trial over, the search will begin for a missing one million pounds never recovered or accounted for by the police or Goldman, which has already paid Mead and his two former colleagues the money stolen from them.

Bây giờ bắt đầu là cao điểm của mùa dị ứng ở vùng Đông Bắc, lúc khoảng cuối tháng 4, đầu tháng 5 thì còn chịu đựng được chứ rất ngại ra đường, có việc gì bắt buộc mới đi ra ngoài. Vậy mà mắt lúc nào cũng ngứa không chịu nổi, mũi tắc đến độ tối phải dựng đứng giường lên ngủ ngồi mới có thể nhắm mắt được. Vùng tôi cũng đang vào mùa dị ứng. Cứ thời điểm này là đến khổ. Tôi không bị "tắc mũi" như bác Netwalker, nhưng 2 mắt thì ngứa dã man. Đi ngoài đường, mình ngứa mắt quá cứ nháy nhó .. làm mấy cô sinh viên lại tưởng "nháy nhó" với mấy cô ấy .. hehehe ..
Tôi dùng 2 loại thuốc xịt mũi la Flonase và Rhinocort thấy có vẻ có hiệu quả bác Net ạ. Bác thử xem thế nào. Trong khi dùng thì uống song song Claritin-D (loại D không hiểu sao lại có hiểu quả hơn Claritin thường).
