Tôi có cuốn LP Tibet 2005, cho đến giờ vẫn là cuốn gần nhất về Tibet, cụ thể và đầy đủ hơn rất nhiều so với phần Tibet trong LP - China. Có thể cho các bạn mượn để photo. (Trong tuần này nhé, vì thời gian vào nhập viện của tôi bị chậm lại đến cuối tuần do có đôi chút trục trặc).
Hồ Yamdrok-Tso khi chúng tôi qua thì trông như thế này:

Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều, nếu sắp xếp được thời gian thì hãy join cùng chúng tớ. Về việc đáp tàu đi Lhasa từ Xinning, bọn tớ cũng nghĩ đến nhưng chưa tìm được chỗ nào làm permit cho mình ở Xinning cả. Nếu đến tận Xinning làm thì có thể phải đợi vài ngày chơi ở Qinghai.
Việc đi xe buyt đến Nanning vẫn phải mất một đêm ở lại Nanning vì vé giảm giá như bạn nói không có chuyến muộn. Sáng hôm sau bay đến Xinning nếu có làm permit trước được thì 6h tối lên tàu đến 8h tối hôm sau mới tới được Lhasa, lại mất 2 giờ đi ô tô (95km) từ sân bay đến thành phố, nói chung là sẽ rất mệt mỏi, mình cũng cân nhắc điều này nhiều lắm.

smile ơi cho mình hỏi chút:
1/ khởi đầu hành trình từ thứ 6 đi HN - Lao Cai là đi chuyến tối đúng ko?
2/ trong ngày thứ 7 là có thể đi tới Chengdu chứ?
Vì đang tính đi máy bay từ HN và nhập đoàn ở Chengdu (nếu đi được)
nhưng nếu đi đường bộ chỉ mất có chừng kia ngày thì có lẽ mình sẽ đi từ đầu cùng với nhóm (nếu đi được )

Tối Thứ 6 từ đi tàu từ Hà Nội thì phải ngày chủ nhật mới ở Cheng Du .
Tuy nhiên đoàn mình đang dự định bay thẳng từ Kunming lên Tibet. Nếu đúng theo kế hoạch này thì trong ngày chủ nhật có mặt ở Lhasa luôn chiu_chiu ạh.

Đúng như bạn nói, vé đi theo tuyến trên phải nghỉ lại ở Nam Ninh 1 tối. Đồng phải ở 1 buổi ở Xining để đợi tàu hỏa. Nhưng cũng có mấy chỗ để đi ở Xining.
Tuyến này có thể lâu hơn nhưng giữ gìn được sức khỏe nhờ làm quen dần với độ cao.
Chỗ làm Permit và Vé tàu ở đây.

Difficult to go there on your own as there are only transportation from Xining to Heimahe, 50km from Bird Island, and no onward public transport (a
taxi should cost Y50)
Tours run every day during the watching season (April to early June) for Y100 one day and Y180 two days. Price exclude entrance fees, food or
accommodations. Departure is 6:30 in front of Train Station (or your hotel) and return is usually very late at night. It takes 6 to 7 hours to reach Bird
Island so the watching time is very short. The two days tours might therefore be a better option, if you are really that crazy seeing birds.... Tours
stop at Sun Moon Mountain Pass (Y5 for nice view) and also maybe at Ta''er Monastery during summer.
If you are going to Goldmud, you should pass by the lake in the North.

Attractions
Although its ethnic diversity lends character to the streets, there are few sights to recommend within the city
limits.
l The Great Mosque - one of the most attractive mosques in northwest China. Built in 1380, it
encloses a large public square where worshippers can congregate. There is hardly a trace of Arab
influence in the architecture - it is purely Chinese in style with flying eaves and colourful painted
arches. There is also a local museum , in a charming historic building along a small market-lane just
south of the Yongfu Hotel; it''s easy to miss - you want no. 41, with a couple of pillars outside. Visitors
are so rare your arrival is likely to set the attendants into a panic to find the keys, but with artefacts
from most dynasties and a display of ethnic minority clothing, it''s a worthy detour.
The mosque is not of particularly Muslim architecture, normally easily differentiated from its
Buddhist counterparts, but is more in the typical Chinese folk style. Beyond the square itself, the
grand Domed Hall, housing up to 10,000 Muslim worshippers at peak times, is the highest Islamic
education center in the province.
How to get there: located in Dongguan Dajie of the city center, the site can be reached by bus No.1, 2
or 23.
l North Mountain Temple ("Beishan Si" or "Beichan Si" in Chinese) - The 1,400-year-old temple
situated on a mountain of the same name to the north of the Huangshui River, is one of the few Taoist
temples in the mostly Buddhist Qinghai. The temple was originally built in the late Tang Dynasty
(618-907 AD), but it has undergone destruction (mainly through fires, natural wear and wars) and
renovation. Some of the original broken murals can still be seen on the existing walls. Other
attractions, beyond an enjoyable climb of the slopes and strolling around the walkways and bridges of
the grounds, are the Taoist ****s that are nicely decorated and are frequently filled with devout
followers. At the very top is a pagoda, offering fine views over the city on a clear day.
How to get there - to reach Qilian Lu at the foot of the mountain, take bus #11 from the train station,
or #10 from the town centre just south of Ximen; there is an obvious entrance just west of Changjiang
Lu.
I am going to take the Qinghai section of the current LP China guide page by page:
Page 874 lists only 6 places to visit in Qinghai. I could easily expand that to 20 or more. A
few places worth mentioning on there would be Amnye Machen (one of the holiest
mountains in all of Tibet), Yushu Tibet Autonomous Prefecture (one of the purest Tibetan
prefectures in all of Greater Tibet with over 97% of the population being Kham Tibetan),
Jyekundo (home to one of the largest Tibetan horse festivals in all of Tibet), Bei Shan in
Huzhu county (an amazing park 3 hours north of Xining), Kyaring and Ngoring Lakes (two
very remote and beautiful lakes on the northern Plateau), the Gyanak Mani Temple near
Jyekundo (the largest collection of prayer stones in all of Tibet and a very holy site to Kham
Tibetans), the birthplace of the famous 10th Panchen Lama in modern day Xunhua county,
all 6 counties of Golok Tibet Autonomous Prefecture (over 90% Tibetan), and the grasslands
of Zeku county (lots of Amdo nomads in this county 130km south of Repkong). There are
many more places, but these are just to name a few.

Hey,
Mình tìm được 5 seats trên chuyến bay kunming-xinning , giá 810Y rẻ thậm tệ, nhưng ko hy vọng đến lúc đặt vé thì còn giá ấy. Ở lại Xinning một ngày không phải là tệ nhưng bạn biết rồi đấy mọi thứ ở đấy đều có ở Tibet với quy mô lớn hơn rất nhiều.
Vì số người chưa Fix được, chúng tớ ưu tiên destination trước, sau đến Saving Time và Saving Money.
