We are the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering English Club. Cooperating with Cleverlearn English Training Centre, we are now holding meetings every two weeks at Cleverlearn English Training Center, 2C Vạn Bảo Str, at 3p.m on Saturday.

This week''s topic is: "Let''s talk about the 8Xs", held at Cleverlear English Training Centre at 3p.m on Saturday 26th.

We will discuss about ourselves, about the 8Xs and also will mention a bit about some kind of "sample life" - which is such a sensitive problem among youngsters.

So why don''t you come and join us here and tell us your opinions, which is also a way to improve your English presentation skills?

It''s completely free to join us, you don''t have to pay any coin, and when you come here you will feel comfortable because we have good place, friendly members and very interesting games.

YOU ARE ALL WELCOME HERE AT OUR CLUB
P.S: If you have any questions please contact Y!M: uce_ec
    Thx for your attention.

Hi guys! Im very glad to be the one to announce this information on our forum:
This Saturday, our club is organizing a meeting with the topic: Let''s talk ''bout 8X-generation!
We would be very glad if you could arrange sometime to participate with us in this topic. The time and venue is provided below:
    Time: Saturday, 26th August, 3:00 p.m
Venue: Cleverlearn English Centre ; 2 Vạn Bảo Street
This is an interesting and hot topic, please come and share your ideas with us!
My the main purpose to add this post is that: we can discuss online about this topic, raise our ideas here so that our key-members can collect them, and use them as documents for next Saturday.
So, everyone on UCE forum, post your ideas here! You may talk about anything that you concern about the 8X-generation: life-style , educational problems , ambitions , dreams , is this a promising generation of Vietnam? ..... and so on.
Thanks for every support on this topic! Kindly no spam, please.
This is the first idea from me, also a member in the 8X-generation
Well. The first question that I raise for everyone is that: What is the thing that makes 8X-generation different from the previous generations?
We were born in the 80s of the 20th century - a decade of revolution in Vietnam, as it is commented by many people. We do not have to face the two wars in Vietnam the last century. And the most important thing maybe: Vietnam has changed to the open-market economy since 1986. Are those things make us different? What do you think about this concept?
The second question is that: What are the particular characteristics of the 8X-generation?
New-thinkers , revolutional , dynamic , dare to dream and dare to try ...... What else do you think?
3rd: What are the difficulties that the 8X-generation is facing at the moment?
You know, together with the bright sides: we are well-educated, we are approaching to the modern technology of the world, we have dreams, we are dynamic, and... some of us have been able to prove him/herself to the community...... we are facing some problems, too. Let me raise some words: heroin and other drugs, stylish life-style with modern motos, cars, mobiles... of some guys while their money is not earned by them, they get it from their parents..., *** ...... and other things.
Moreover, as u all know, we are living in a changing world. And adjusting to it from a poor country like Vietnam is really difficult. Vietnam is going to join WTO, and that''s a great chance together with a great chalenge. What should we do?
4th: Most of you here, I guess, also belong to this generation. So, what do you comment about our ambitions?
Dare to dream, and dare to try. Talk about your ambitions! And your expectations in the future
