Đây là hàng củ của thằng Tây Ban Nha, nó xài chán rồi bỏ thằng THái khùng đi mua về làm tàu du lịch. Đúng là dân thái chỉ thích chơi thôi

Không phải dân Thái thích chơi đâu mà có lẽ nó thiếu tiền để bảo dưỡng, nâng cấp thiết bị cho tàu cũng như sửa và mua mới máy bay AV-8S cho tàu CHAKRI NARUEBET. Sau đây là bài đăng trên tờ Bangkok Post ngày 22 tháng 7 năm 2003 của Wassana Nanuam:

The navy would just have to keep making repairs to the Sea Harrier jump jets stationed on the aircraft carrier Chakri Naruebet until the money is available to buy new planes, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said.It was necessary that the planes be kept airworthy, he said.Mr Thaksin said he discussed the matter with Defence Minister Thammarak Isarangkura na Ayudhaya, Supreme Commander Gen Surayud Chulanont, and Adm Thaweesak Somapa, the navy chief, during the joint military exercise at Sattahip naval base in Chon Buri on Saturday.He regretted that the navy had to make do with aircraft that were almost beyond repair, but there was no option.
``We'' ll just keep recon***ioning them until we can afford replacements,''" the prime minister said. Nine Sea Harriers, capable of vertical take-off and landing, were bought from Spain in 1998 fo deployment on the Chakri Naruebet. Only two are still flyable due mainly to a shortage of spare parts and budget constraints, a source said. The others are being plundered for parts to keep them operational. The navy''s 18 A-7 Corsair aircraft were also in a similar con***ion, the source said. Only nine were still in service and only three of these were actually operational. The others were also being cannibalised for spare parts. The navy had earlier requested a 295 million baht budget to repair four of the Corsairs, but the project hit a snag when the estimated cost of repairs quoted by a US firm soared, the source said. The navy then turned to a Greek company, which said it could fix only two planes and so the navy put the repairs on hold. The navy, however, still had the repair budget at its disposal and wanted to spend it on a German-made Dornier patrol plane, to be added to the navy''''s existing squadron of six planes. It was also hoped to recommission another two planes, bringing the total to nine. A source said the navy also proposed spending 900 million baht on radar and weapons for the Chakri Naruebet. The budget request was on top of the 500 million baht granted earlier to finance a battle-readiness enhancement programme. Another 500 million baht would be sought to acquire eight patrol boats. Mr Thaksin pledged to ``take good care of the armed forces now that the economy had picked up. But the forces must submit comprehensive short and long term plans for procurement, not attempt to buy the weapons because of lobbying by private arms dealers. Mr Thaksin said the government had no interest in an arms race, the defence budget was a security investment''. He praised the army for developing a pilotless plane, which he said would help reduce costs.[/i]

dân Thái nó mua về để có hy vọng có vinh dự có chiếc tàu sân bay đầu tiên của ĐnÁ bị đánh chìm! Không hiểu tụi nó tính toán kỹ chưa lực lượng máy bay chứa trên đấy không đủ để đi doạ ai. Sao không mua mấy chiếc máy bay chiến đấu tầm xa cho xong!
