    Our Impact

Our international platform enables young people to discover and develop their potential to provide leadership for a positive impact on society.

    The Way We Do It

AIESEC provides its members with an integrated development experience comprised of leadership opportunities, international internships and participation in a global learning environment.

    What''s the exchange program?

Our exchange program differs from most of those offered, as we send students to work professionally in organizations overseas, mostly in a paid capacity. Once students have become involved in our organization and passed a review process we can attempt to match you to a position raised in an organization by an AIESEC committee at another university. Generally, for a set time period for exchange we can send students to a desired region with a general position description. Whether or not we can match you to a position will depend on the skills that the organization has requested its interns have. A more complete list of countries is available on our website, though if you specify a country we cannot guarantee that we can send you there.

The fees for the exchange program are $80 which covers the costs of educating you about your destination country, and integration and support services on arrival. (Since we are a not-for-profit organization and run entirely by university students we do not make any gains from this fee.) Students must arrange their own flights and visas. We do require that our exchange interns are active members before leaving, but once students have become members they may go on exchange through the organization up until two years after they have graduated. The positions themselves last anywhere from 2 to 18 months, depend on the organization.
