We were afraid that you couldn''t go in such heavy rain...so.....
7 of us had been chatting for 2 hours and I found that:

Last Friday, athought it rained heavily, we - industrious bees- went to HDEC''s house as usual.
What did we talk about? We talked to each other about science, sociology, economics, hot news... It seems to be that we have geniuses for different fields. . Frankly, it''s true. hehehe.
Hope that HDEC''s mem will have more time to sit, to share...w/ each other more.

Out of date . May be I like read old newspapers. but it''s doesn''t mean that I''m out of date.

- Honestly, you seems to be thinking in Vietnamese, not English. One of the most common problems of Vietnamese learners of English is to translate word by word
- You used many simple sentences that could be linked together.
- U should use stronger points to persuade the audiences
- 1 helpful method is: In the two first paragraphs, you mention some advantages of growing up in the city (can compare with the countryside as well, I think ). And then, in the third paragraph, there should be the opposing viewpoint (so-called counterargument) of your topic. Eventhough you are arguing 1 side of an issue (for or against), you must think about what someone on the other side would argue. After that, you refute (or debate) this idea in your own view.
