Tôi không remove được chương trình "symantec antivirus" , cứ gần được máy lại báo lỗi:" fatal error during installation". Có bác nào biết cách gỡ trương trình này thì chỉ giúp với. Cảm ơn nhiều!

Dùng Norton Removal Tool. Download tại đây :

Cài lại Norton, khi nó chạy dưới khay tác vụ, nhấn vào đấy disable nó. Vào trong add Remove, remove cái liveupdate trước, vào task manager tắt hết các tiến trình của NAV đi thông thường thì có chữ syn... gì đó. Xong xuôi thì vào lại add remove gỡ nốt cái norton. Dùng cách này cả trăm lần rồi ngon ơ

Có phải bạn bị lỗi đó ngay cả khi setup lại Symantec ko? Nếu đúng như vậy thì giống mình rùi. Mình phải ghost lại win/setup lại Symantec đấy.Bye

"Fatal Error during installation" while trying to uninstall Norton Personal Firewall" or Norton Internet Security" 2003 or 2002
Situation:
You want to uninstall Norton Personal Firewall or Norton Internet Security 2003 or 2002. You go into Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel or click uninstall in the Start menu for Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall and try to uninstall the program. The progress bar advances a very small amount and then regresses. After that happens, you get the error message "Fatal Error during installation."
Solution:
This can be caused by Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall becoming corrupted. To solve this problem, you need to uninstall Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall using a removal utility, delete the Symantec registry keys, delete all Symantec product folders, and then reinstall in a clean environment (do a "clean boot").
Note: If you installed Norton AntiVirus included in Norton Internet Security, you must first uninstall the Norton AntiVirus program using the Rnav.exe removal tool. Read the Web page How to uninstall Norton AntiVirus by using the Rnav.exe removal tool
To uninstall Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, you must use the RnixUPG.exe removal utility. Go to the Web page How to uninstall Norton Internet Security or Personal Firewall using the RnisUPG.exe removal utility and then return to this page to e*** the registry and perform a clean boot.

1. Click Start > Run.
2. Type rege*** in the Run dialog box. Click OK.
3. In the Registry E***or window, in the left pane, browse to and delete these keys from the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Symantec
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Symantec
4. On the desktop, double-click My Computer, and browse to Program Files. (It is generally on drive C.)
5. Delete any folders for Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall, or Norton AntiVirus that are present.
6. Perform a clean boot.
7. Install each of your Symantec programs, starting with Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
8. Restart the computer when prompted.
