CV stands for Curriculum Vitae , a brief personal history.
CVs are required for all except the most junior jobs, and are used as a basis for assessment and comparison of applicants for a job.
CVs provide information about an applicant, set out in a way that is easy to read. They should include:
+ name, address and telephone number
+ date and place of birth
+ nationality
+ married or single (give the ages of any children)
+ dates and places of education
+ examination passed, especially if internationally recognised
+ knowledge of English and of other languages
+ previous employment and work experience
+ outside interest, hobbies, etc.
CVs should be typed on plain white paper.
CVs can vary slightly on the layout, but all give the same basic information.
I''ve been looking for my brother''s CV when he applied for Master scholarship so that it''s easy for you to imitate. But unfortunately, I deleted it a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, don''t worry, I remember posting it here on TTVN, I''ll try to search and hope that I will find it.

a resumé is a resumé, period. you can use a well-written resumé to apply for a job or a scholarship. there''s no job resumé and/or a scholarship resumé, if you know what I mean.
