He he, đc các bạn góp ý thía này cũng hay thật. Tự dưng lại bổ sung cách tư duy và làm bài. Túm lại đến giờ phút này đáp án của mình là thế này, ai có ý kiến gì thì post lên mình bít với nha:

Hic, nhiều ý kiến quá. Cái nào cũng thấy đúng. Mình thấy bạn có lý, nhất là câu 1

Những câu kiểu đó trong tập Cambridge có khá nhiều, làm nhiều sẽ quen mà.
Câu his savings can afford ... ko biết có ổn ko nhỉ vì thường nghe someone afford something thôi. Nếu ko thì viết lại là his savings can help him afford....

@ lintho: Câu 6 viết thế nghe buồn cười lắm ( là cảm giác thôi... )
Viết lại nó thế này: theirs was a conventional and middle class up-bringing hay là theirs was a up-bringing of conventional and middle class way

Thực ra mình thấy câu này cũng ko đc rõ ràng lắm vì chả bít thời điểm người ta nói câu gốc là bao giờ mà lại chuyển thành 1950s hic. Nhưng đáp án là thế hic.
