SIDI SLIMANE AIR BASE -- F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 555th Fighter Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy, arrived here, in support of Exercise African Eagle. African Eagle is a bi-annual exercise designed to practice dissimilar air to air training with the Royal Moroccan air force.

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Senior Airman Hashim Haskins, an F-16 crew chief for the 14th Fighter Squadron here, guides Lt. Col. Kurt Neubauer to his parking spot after he completes 3,000 flying hours in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Neubauer is one of only 58 pilots to accomplish this feat.

MALACKY AIR BASE, Slovakia -- Staff Sgt. William LeSage, 31st Supply Squadron, Fuels Flight, Aviano Air Base, Italy, refuels an F-16 Fighting Falcon between sorties. He''s one of 220 people deployed *****pport the 555th Fighter Squadron during a weapons training deployment here.

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- An unidentified F-16 pilot from the Netherlands prepares his aircraft to take on fuel during an air refueling mission with a KC-135 Stratotanker. Aboard the tanker was an all-female crew from the 376th Expe***ionary Air Refueling Squadron at Ganci Air Base, Kyrgyzstan.

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- An Air Force B-52 bomber from the 28th Air Expe***ionary Wing takes off from Diego Garcia for a combat mission Oct. 22, 2001, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Air Force B-2, B-1 and B-52 bombers have expended more than 80 percent of the tonnage dropped on combat missions over Afghanistan. The Air Force has flown more than 600 sorties including strike missions against al Qaeda and Taliban targets in Afghanistan. These targets include early-warning radars, ground forces, command-and-control facilities, al Qaeda infrastructure, airfields and aircraft.

OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM -- A B-1 Lancer takes off as a B-52 Stratofortress taxies past, readying for take-off from Andsersen Air Force Base, Guam during last day of surges.

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- A view looking down on the 2003 "Defenders of Liberty" air show held here May 10-11. Crowds saw two days of flying which included the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.

(AFPN) -- Airmen from the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron conduct a fuel enrichment valve test on a B-52H Stratofortress here Jan. 15 while the temperature sits at 6 below zero. Contractors from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., and Wichita, Kan., helped the squadron in a weeklong test to modify the fuel controls for cold-weather engine start ups.
