10/24/06 - A U.S. Marine Corps crash, fire, and rescue team respond to a downed Philippine air force OV-10 Bronco aircraft that swerved off the runway upon landing at Clark Air Base in Pampanga, Philippines, Oct. 24, 2006. The Marines, attached to Marine Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Unit, Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, 3rd Marine Expe***ionary Brigade, are in the Philippines participating in the bilateral training exercises Talon Vision ''07 and Amphibious Landing Exercise ''07, which are designed to enhance interoperability and professional relations between the U.S. and Philippine armed forces.

10/31/06 - The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), background, steams alongside the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) after arriving in the Red Sea to begin its deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet''s area of operations Oct. 31, 2006. Eisenhower and Enterprise are on a six-month deployment in support of maritime security operations.

09/20/06 - The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) enters Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Sept. 20, 2006, for a port visit before returning to it''s homeport in San Diego, Calif. The Mercy is returning from its five-month humanitarian and civic assistance deployment to South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.

09/21/06 - A landing craft air cushion from USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) conducts maritime security operations Sept. 21, 2006, during a six-month deployment.

09/24/06 - U.S. Navy Sailors tend to a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) Sept. 24, 2006, during deck landing qualifications in the East China Sea. Harpers Ferry is embarked on its fall patrol.

U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft taxi on the flight line before a six-ship sortie from Yokota Air Base, Japan, on Jan. 6, 2006. The Hercules are attached to the 36th Airlift Squadron, which is the only forward-based tactical airlift squadron in the Pacific region.

Seventeen C-17 Globemaster III aircraft fly over the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia during low level tactical training on Dec. 20, 2005. The C-17s, assigned to the 437th and 315th Airlift Wings at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., demonstrated the strategic airdrop capability of the U.S. Air Force.
