    A U.S. Navy A-6E Intruder receives the signal to launch from catapult three of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65), on Dec. 19, 1996, marking the last Intruder squadron to fly from the deck of an aircraft carrier. The Intruder, from Attack Squadron 75, Naval Air Station Oceana, Va., sports the AG tail code and paint scheme representing Carrier Air Wing 7, the squadron''s first air wing over 30 years ago. The squadron, known as the Sunday Punchers, will be decommissioned in early 1997.

    Petty Officer 2nd Class Mark Sisson stands the lookout watch while perched high on the sail of the attack submarine USS Pogy (SSN 647). The submarine is on a 45-day research mission to the North Pole. Seven scientists and technical advisors are conducting experiments and collecting samples for studies in water mass properties, geophysics, ice mechanics and pollution detection in the Arctic Ocean. While personnel are out on the ice, a lookout is continuously posted to scan the horizon for polar bear activity. The research voyage is the second of five planned deployments through the year 2000.

    Two Russian KA-27 Helix helicopters prepare to land on the flight deck of the USS Belleau Wood (LHA 3) on Aug. 17, 1996, during Exercise Cooperation From the Sea ''''''''96, off the coast of Vladivostok, Russia. U.S. Navy and Marine Corps units of the 7th Fleet and Russian Federation Navy units are conducting the exercise near the port city of Vladivostok, Russia. The purpose of exercise is to improve interoperability with Russian military forces in conducting disaster relief and humanitarian missions. Personnel exchanges and training will promote cooperation and understanding between the U.S. and Russian Federation Naval Forces. The landing marks the first time Russian helicopters have landed aboard a U.S. Navy ship as part of this annual exercise.

    A U.S. Navy F-14A Tomcat releases a GBU-24B/B Hard Target Penetrator Laser-Guided Bomb while in a in a 45-degree dive during ordnance separation testing on May 10, 1996. The Navy is conducting the tests at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md., as part of an air-to-ground development program *****pport clearance for use of the weapon in the fleet by F-14 Tomcats. This Tomcat is assigned to the Strike Aircraft Test Squadron at Patuxent River.

    The aircraft carriers USS Enterprise (CVN 65) (top) and USS George Washington (CVN 73); the fast combat support ship USS Supply (AOE 6) (center) and the ammunition ship USS Mount Baker (AE 34) (bottom) steam in formation in the waters of the western Me***erranean Sea during turnover operations on July 12, 1996. The Enterprise Battle Group is relieving the Washington Battle Group in the Me***erranean Sea. The USS Enterprise, the Navy''s oldest active, nuclear powered aircraft carrier, returns to sea for her first scheduled deployment in several years following a complex overhaul.

    The nation''s newest and most advanced attack submarine Seawolf (SSN 21) puts to sea in the Narragansett Bay operating area for her first at-sea trial operations on July 3, 1996. Sea trials include various tests of the Seawolf propulsion systems and the first underway submergence of the submarine. The Seawolf represents the Navy''s most advanced quieting technology, weaponry, tactical capability and communications. Seawolf is scheduled to be delivered to the Navy and commissioned this fall.

    Ồ! Tiếc quá, lại có một số người không thích. Đúng là có nhiều hình không mới, Nhưng vẫn có một số người đáng kể quan tâm!!! (trung bình mổi ngày cũng có 200-300 người truy cập vào đây mà) Tôi sẽ cố gắng tìm kiếm những hình thật mới, thật thời sự mong bạn ủng hộ nhá.
