    Journalists in developing countries are being invited by Panos London to apply for a poverty-reduction journalism fellowship. Deadline for application is October 13.
    Three applicants will be chosen to write a short series of print features or produce a short series of radio interviews between October and December, 2008.
    Applicants will be chosen on merit but priority will be given to the strong applications from Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Kenya, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

    Journalists from Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America or the Middle East are invited to apply for climate change fellowships that will allow journalists to take part in media activities at the UN climate change summit, being held in Pozna", Poland in December.
    The deadline for applications is October 13.
    The fellowships, which are being offered through the Climate Change Media Partnership, will allow selected journalists to enhance their knowledge of environmental issues and to develop their professional journalism skills through media activities offered during the summit.
    The Climate Change Media Partnership will provide travel, travel insurance, accommodation and a daily subsistence expense allowance to the journalists selected. Journalists must arrange their own visas.

    Journalists who live in Asia are invited to apply for a fellowship to study for three months at Nanyang Technological Universityâ?Ts communication school in Singapore. Deadline: November 15.
    The Asia Journalism Fellowships provide a three-month break for active journalists to improve their professional skills and deepen their understanding of media trends. Fellows will participate in informal seminars and intensive workshops, as well as meet with key newsmakers in Singapore.
    Candidates must have at least five years of journalism experience in any medium, leadership potential, and be fluent in English. Freelancers are welcome to apply.
    Participants will receive airfare, accommodation, and a stipend of US$1,500 per month.
    The Fellowship is sponsored by Temasek Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Singapore that seeks to contribute *****stainable growth and a bright future of hope and opportunities for people in Asia.

    Journalists with five or more years of experience from around the world can apply for the Nieman International Fellowships to study at Harvard University. Application deadline: December 15.
    Candidates must find financial support from sources outside the Nieman Foundation. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply even if they havenâ?Tt received full funding by the deadline. The Foundation then works with fellows to secure the necessary funds.
    Applicants from South Africa, Canada and South Korea may choose to follow their own Nieman application, selection process and submission deadlines.
    Completed application forms should accompany work samples and two short essays: a statement of career plans and aspirations, and a proposal for study. Fellows begin their academic year at Harvard in mid-August 2009.

    Journalists who want to learn more about the interaction between the press, politics and public policy can compete for the Joan Shorenstein Fellowship. Deadline: February 1, 2009.
    The fellowship, offered by the Joan Shorenstein Center, enables journalists to study for one semester at Harvardâ?Ts Kennedy School of Government. The program is open to U.S. or international journalists, scholars and policymakers.
    Fellows receive a stipend of $30,000 disbursed in four installments over the semester.
    Candidates must send a statement of interest, a project proposal, a resume and three letters of recommendation, along with the application form to the Fellowship Program Director Joan Shorenstein at Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, Kennedy School of Government, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA.

    Asia Pacific Leadership Program
    New Fellowships Available
    The East-West Center is pleased to announce new fellowships for the Asia Pacific Leadership Program for
    2009-10. Entering its eight year, the Asia Paci?c Leadership Program (APLP) is the center of excellence for leadership education in the Asia Paci?c region. The APLP is a graduate certi?cate program combining the development of regional expertise with the enhancement of individual leadership capacity. Based at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, the program has created a network of dynamic leaders in 48 countries who are helping to build a peaceful, prosperous and just Asia Paci?c community. All participants receive an APLP Entrance Fellowship valued at approximately $15,000.
    Participants
    The Asia Pacific Leadership Program seeks outstanding individuals with proven leadership experience or high leadership potential from across the Asia Pacific region, North America and beyond. All participants have at least a Bachelors degree with the majority having graduate degrees as well. At least 20 countries are represented in each cohort. APLP Fellows come together from all walks of life, including
    areas as diverse as government, business, NGOs, health sciences, media, monastic orders, and education.
    APLP participants will gain broad regional perspectives, become knowledgeable about the critical challenges facing the Asia Pacific region, and be trained to exercise leadership and promote cooperation. The APLP empowers leaders with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and supportive community needed *****ccessfully navigate personal and regional change in the 21st century.
    Recruitment for 2009-10 is open. Places are limited. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

    Chi Allroadsleadtorome cho em hoi la` h em dang hoc master o'' Boston (k fai Havard), trước khi đi học thì em làm việc trong ngành báo chí. Vậy em apply vào học bổng này được không ạ? Vì em thấy nó háp dẫn quá.
    Ah hiện tại chương trình master của em là về kinh tế phát triển, đến 2010 thì xong.
