Bến xe Giáp Bát tồn tại ở phía Nam thành phố đã rất nhiều năm, đến nay tỏ ra có nhiều bất cập, thành phố HN phải di dời bến xe sang địa điểm khác. Công ty Vinafco đã được UBND thành phố Hà Nội giao cho dự án xây dựng bến xe mới phía Nam thành phố tại Thanh Trì, các công việc xây dựng bến xe mới đang được tích cực triển khai. Câu hỏi đặt ra là diện tích đất hiện nay của bến xe Giáp Bát (lô đất rất lớn ở vị trí đẹp) sẽ được sử dụng cho mục đích gì? Nghe nói Sở Giao thông công chính đang dự kiến trình thành phố cho phép dùng lô đất này xây siêu thị và trung tâm thương mại. Theo các bác liệu có nên xây siêu thị ở đây hay nên sử dụng lô đất này vào mục đích nào khác tốt hơn không? Liệu giá đất ở vùng Giáp Bát có tăng hay không?

Journalists from around the world with minimum seven years'' professional experience are invited to apply for the chance to be Knight Fellows in the U.S. at Stanford University, receiving nine months of study, intellectual growth, and personal change from 2009-2010. Deadline: December 15.
Eight selected fellows will take classes from mid-September to mid-June in any area of Stanford that interests them; conduct independent study with faculty, and participate in special weekly seminars with distinguished Stanford scholars, business and political leaders and cultural and social observers.
The fellowship is open to reporters, e***ors and anchors; photographers, producers and news directors; e***orial cartoonists and Web gurus; and more. This round of fellowships will especially emphasize journalistic innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership, including developing and strengthening press freedoms around the world.
The fellowship includes a stipend of US$60,000 plus supplements for housing, child care, health insurance and books.

Templeton Cambridge Journalism Fellowship
The fellowship enables ten print, broadcast or online journalists to pursue an intensive two-month course of study in issues of science and religion.
Potential areas of study include Science and Islam, biotechnology ethics, biodiversity, climate change, neuroscience, health, spirituality and nutrition â?" all issues that relate to the developing world today.
The programme includes three weeks of seminars at the University of Cambridge featuring eminent, well known authorities in the field. Fellows are paid a stipend in ad***ion to travel expenses to Cambridge.
The fellowship, now in its fifth year, seeks to promote a deeper understanding and a more informed public discussion of the interface of science and religion.
Deadline for applications is 15th December 2008.

InWEnt xin gửi các anh/chị thông báo chương trình đào tạo về Báo chí trực tuyến và truyền thông đa phương tiện tại CHLB Đức từ ngày 02.02.2009 đến 03.4.2009.
Khóa học dành cho các phóng viên báo chí của các tờ báo, tạp chí, hãng thông tấn và cơ quan có ấn bản trực tuyến. Các ứng viên đang làm việc hoặc chuẩn bị làm việc với các ấn bản trực tuyến sẽ được ưu tiên.

Ứng viên phải có ít nhất 5 năm kinh nghiệm làm việc, nói tiếng Anh thành thạo và không quá 35 tuổi, có kỹ năng máy tính tốt, đặc biệt quan tâm đến Internet nói chung và đến báo chí trực tuyến nói riêng. Toàn bộ chi phí cho khóa học (ăn ở, học tập tại Đức) sẽ do InWEnt đài thọ.

We would like to introduce the training course on "Environmental Reporting", which will be held in Berlin from June 26 to August 21, 2009. This programme is open to journalists from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania and Vietnam, who work for print and online media and who have a special interest in environmental topics.
The Journalist should:
õ? have a minimum of four years of professional experience
õ? be under 36 years old
õ? be proficient in English
õ? be given paid leave during the duration of the course
õ? computer skills would be considered a bonus.
Women journalists are particularly encouraged to apply.
