Dr. Thinh Nguyen, Professor of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Oregon State University, is looking for Vietnamese students who are interested in pursuing PhD degrees in one of following areas: Computer Networking, Multimedia Streaming, Peer-to-Peer networks, or Wireless Communications. The program starts in September, 2009 and students are expected to finish the degree within 3 to 5 years. Successful candidates will get teaching assistantship or research assistantship with a stipend of $1300 per month and full tuition fee waiver.

Qualifications:

o Having a BS degree (by September, 2009) or a MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with good study records.
o Excellent at Mathematics
o Hard working
o Good C/C++, and/or MATLAB programming skills
o TOEFL paper-based converted score > 500; GRE is optional
