    This is my writing:
    The chart shows how many percentages of illiterate male and female in 6 different regions for the year 2000. From the chart, the number of illiterate people can be divided into 3 distinct groups: South Asia, Araba States and Sub-Saharan Africa; East Asia/Oceania and Latin-American/Caribbean; Developed Countries.
    Looking at the female data, while there was only over 2% illiteracy in Developed countries, the percentages was very high in South Asia, Araba States and Sub-Saharan Africa with 56%,52% and 48%. The chart also reported a much lower in illiteracy of female, just 12% and 20% in East Asia/Oceania and Latin-American/Caribbean.
    For the male, the percentages were similar ,with around 30% in South Asia in comparison with 1% in Devoloped countries. In ad***ion, the percentages of male was much lower than the percentages of female in most regions, even in Devoloped countries.

    Writing task 2
    You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
    With the pressures on today?Ts young people *****cceed academically, some people believe that non-academic subjects at schools (eg: physical education and cookery) should be removed from the syllabus so that children can concentrate wholly on academic subjects.
    To what extend do you agree or disagree?
    You should write at least 250 words.
    Academic success is undoubtedly an essential factor in someonê?Ts improvement as well as in the development of a country. However, the question of whether children should focus on all subjects including non-academic ones like physical education (PE) and cookery or these non-academic subjects should be removed from the syllabus to reduce the pressures on young people is controversial. I am in favor of the opinion that children should be educated basically and perfectly with all subjects to fully develop their mind and spirit.
    First, removing non-academic subjects from the syllabus given is not a good way to improve children. They are really necessary and that is the reason why they are included in the syllabus for all schools by the MOET. These subjects can be an ad***ional contribution to other academic subjects. For example, students can understand more about biology and physics when they take part in physical education lessons.
    Second, learning these kinds of non-academic subjects is really one of the best ways to help students relax. Children can not pay much attention to difficult academic subjects all the time (from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m.) without having any other activities. Taking part in PE or cookery lesson can help students feel relaxed because they are able to play sports or cook the dishes they like. Students can get much energy to study better for the next lessons. If we do not let them join these lessons, they will feel tired or bored even though there are some minutes for having break.
    Also to be taken into consideration is that students themselves can improve their interpersonal/ communicative skills by joining these subjects. Playing sports in PE or cooking in cookery lesson can help them not only be more sociable with other friends but understand the collective spirit as well. In these kinds of subjects, they will be able to to express themselves actively and clearly. A teacher who is interested in observing students can find some gifted students to improve and encourage them by organizing interesting activities in these lessons.
    For all things considered, I am convinced that it would be essential to keep teaching the non-academic subjects at schools. They are not compulsory but obviously they will be able to help students study better other academic subjects. Teachers at school should know the importance of these subjects to take advantages of them in education.
