There is no need to ask your professor in the US school to interfere the visa process since the length of such process fall under the jurisdiction of the visa section of the Embassy or General Consulate.
Please telephone the Embassy, or the Consulate, where you are residing in Germany and ask them approximately how long the process may take. I think if you have all required documentation, and apply now, you are more likely to obtain a visa at the end of August to commence the fall semester.

    (1) E visa is categorized under E1 (Treaty Trader) and E2 (Treaty Investor). These types of visas are for managers, executives and persons who apply to admit to the US under the treaty signed between the US and their home country. Please let me know if you wish to know this in more detail. Second, I will need to read law to answer you how long a visa of this type will be issued.
    (2) Revalidation issue - this means should your visa expires in the US, you shall not be permitted to apply to USCIS for an extension. You must apply to an Embassy outside the US so that your credentials shall be checked in terms of security. For example, your H1B visa is issues for 3 years. Then you must apply outside the US to obtain extension of such visa. No more in the US. In such case you are advised to set up appointment in Mexico or Canada and apply for such extension in lieu of flying back to Vietnam.
    To be continued.

Visa Waiver Program is a program which permits a person of certain country to admit to the US without the need to obtain a visa. The duration of stay must be maximum 90 days and there are many strict con***ions applying to this type of program including but not limited *****ch person must not be allowed to engage in employment in the US or to receive any remuneration in the US.
For example, a citizen of the United Kingdom shall be permitted to enter the US for business (B1) or pleasure (B2) without the need to apply for such visa. There are about 30 countries in the world which are parties to this program with the US.
I have not had enough time to write a message with regard to Green Cards.

Hi analyst, what visa category would an owner of a foreign company, or an LLC that were created in US, should fall into? Or would that person be issued an H1B or H1 visa if any?

From my pọint of view, this is refered to as an intracompany transferee. The owner or major stockholder of the company should apply for L-1 visa for himself and L-2 for his accompanying family member.
@analyst might have further information on the application process when he logs in next time.
