Deadline is come and come again .. So we have to run "with 4 legs" I used to adapt it , but it makes me so tired and dont have enough time to sit back and think...
I know some programs which can help us organizing timeline like Microsoft Outlook or Project Assistant. But i dont know how to use it effectively and how I can arrange my work.
Anyone same to me? and who can give me advice ? Thank a lot.

    Good question!
Have you ever set yourself a timetable like this?

Thank Di. There are so many packages which I do not know which one to choose. I need some tools to do project planning: task and timeline something like that.

To Taolao: You should download the trial version of Microsoft Project before reading Dimi''s link. Play around with it while you''re reading instructions
To letmebe: MS Outlook could not help you meet the deadline efficiently. The front - end effort in managing a project must be focused on establishing a baseline plan that provides a roadmap for how the project scope will be accomplished on time and within budget. Try MS Project, it''s a great tool for project management. It combines a unique set of interrelated tasks, resources, schedule, and cost.

Some people like to work under pressure because it makes them feel important. A lot of work waiting them to solve and without them, nobody can continue the process...
Haha, sometimes i feel too when I am so busy ... I was used to delaying to go nearly deadline. I had thought that i was so good ( really?? ) because I could solve a lot of problems on a little time...
But that when I was a student ( one year ago), when i didnt have any responsibity for working except the marks. I have read a lot of time management books and I know theory about what is important, what is neccessary.
I would like to open the Topic to hear and to be shared from who is working on the professional environment !!! Give your experience and advice to me and to other members. Thanks

When I was a freshman, I was taught how to control my time in the simplest way. It''s the table above. I set it every week on Sat or Sun, sometimes I set it for months. By that way I would know clearly my time, in order to accept or refuse some invitations, some meetings.... Based on it, I decided to enter the 2nd school , sometimes to apply for a part-time job.
I am not sure that I don''t feel pressure when it''s ''the rush hour'' such as: deadline for a presentation, exams, or semi-finished plans.....Perhaps when I graduate from my schools, I will...have such a stress. So now, take it easy!
