Oh, What''s a pity! I had lost a joyful sunday. I''ve just came back hanoi from bussiness. I will come to the Club on next Sunday to hear the wonderful songs and the famous Vietnamese Kurt Coiban

this sunday ( 16-10) : Discuss "the role of women"
next sunday (23-10) : Debate "the role of women"
the last sunday of this month (30-10) : Halloween Festival

Each sunday, we will have game for all at the last minute.. special price for ur team.
At Halloween Festival : we will have many funny games..

eh, this was how I felt when I first came to HYEC (a bit exaggerated, but true, though ). Now, let?Ts get straight to work:
1.To dung_a82 and others: I guessed (hopefully rite ) the girl MC was me (you?Tll know my name next time u come). By the way, thanks for your comment. You might not know how big an encouragement it is to me, but indeed, it is and a very huge one though.
In fact, there are numerous potential speakers at HYEC, but many of them prefer to stay anonymous (as far as impressions left on me) and it takes time to discover them (just like Hollywood stars, he he ). It seems that identifying ourselves turns out to be so demanding for some people, rite? What does ?oVan su khoi dau nan? mean in English, ba con nhi? Taking into account that it is an English speaking club, just bear in mind that ?oAll great speakers were bad speakers at first? (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
2.To everybody: As mentioned before, the whole HYEC Team would sincerely like to apologize for the incidents. We are trying to work out the best way for the club. Although we are aware that ?ofirst impression counts and first impression lasts?, the 2nd impression wê?Tre going to make will hopefully look better than the 1st one (if u give us a chance ).
3.Kind of explanation (if I?Tm allowed): eh, it was actually my first hand experience being a moderator (and that, at the last minute) => I felt partly to blame for the weak performance of the whole event. But you?Tll see me grow, that I?Tm sure .
4.I suppose that all of us come to HYEC for a reason, which could be various (purely academic, for entertainment, relaxation, in terms of socializing, and who knows whatever reason you might think of ). Hence, the benefits you expect to get from coming to HYEC are accordingly varied. We just want you to know that HYEC has been and is going to do our best to meet your every need (in whatever ways possible ).
The point I want to make is: YOU yourself can MAKE A DIFFERENCE, so why not MAKE YOURSELF HEARD, why not GET INVOLVED?!? I?Tm pretty sure the saying NO SWEET WITHOUT SWEAT is familiar to most of you (or a different version: no pain no gain, nothing ventured nothing gained, etc.).
Hereby I wish to call upon your greater participation, devotion and contribution (but of course, the degree of enthusiasm and commitment depend on the needs and capability of each individual). Then, the reward we get might surprise us (check it out and see for yourself).
5.To antigod: The topic of slogans will surely be brought up quite soon. I?Tll see to that, coz I have some ideas myself. Thank u anyway. You?Tll be joining the HYEC Team soon, heh?
