Vietnamese education after WTO â?" Turning right or left
In virtually every country in the world, students are admitted to colleges and universities according to their two abilities:
1. Their ability to study and their academic achievements, or their LEFT ability.
2. Their ability to pay for tuition and other school fees, or their RIGHT ability.
Actually there is no university that is all-right or all-left, and both
systems have advantages and disadvantages.
The LEFT system creates heavy exams and great pressure on pupils, who must study hard to achieve good scores. This system also creates inactive public universities, which are underfunded and full of waste and flaws like other kinds of administrative-cause organizations, but many people think that this way is reasonable, because education is a right, not a normal good to be traded freely on the market.
The RIGHT system, on the other hand, creates more active, company-like universities, but this may wipes out the opportunities of poor pupils.
Question1: If you were the Minister of Education, how will you marshal the ship, will you turn right or turn left, or just keep going straight forward? Please tell us why? What do you think will be the optimal way to improve Vietnamese Education?
Question2: Actually, Vietnamese education is turning right, how many degrees do you think the ship should turn?
Question 3: Brain drain is considered a serious problem of Vietnamese education. Is it increasing after integrating into WTO?

After the meeting today, I organizer have a few words to tell you.
First, you all know that the most important role of an English club is helping its members improve their English skills, speaking and listening in particular !
Second, each topic paper has to prepared carefully before you have it on hand.
Third, we organizers always try our best to improve the program to meet your demand.
Forth , any presenter really wants others to listen to him. It''''''''s only the polite attitude not only at this club but also in life.
...
So, today, many keep private talks while someone is trying his best to make a presentation. You know, any task can be successful if we have co-operation. If we organizers try to satisfy you but you don''''''''t co-operate with us, how can we have the best result ?
...
In conclusion, I hope to hear from you if you have any idea or comment...Hope you''''''''re in co-operation with us to improve our quality!
