Due to some unexpected reason, our last activity was canceled. So, we will continue discussing about the following topic this week.
TEACHER, I...LOVE...YOU!
Students?T love for teachers is often associated with respect and admiration and in this regard, it reflects a positive relationship on campus. However, this kind of ?orespectful lovê? is sometimes mistaken for or accidentally turned into ?oromantic lovê?. Paul Lannon (2002) expressed his opinion in an article named ?oForbidden love: Student ?" Teacher romancê?, ?oAll teaching institutions encourage faculty to develop close relationships with their students - but not too close. While sharing an apple with a favorite teacher may still be an acceptable tra***ion, sharing a valentine is not.? This proves that student ?" teacher?Ts romantic love remains to be a debatable topic.
Question for debate (For/Against):
In your opinion, is such a romantic relationship between a student and a teacher good or bad? Is it essential to pass a law or adopt a strict policy on this issue? Why or why not?
