New "instant" IELTS class
Thuy Hang, graduated from Hanoi Economics University, is thinking of organizing an instant IELTS course for 10 classes. She plans to take the IELTS test on 27 July and wonders whether there might be someone with the same need.

Length: 10 class
Meeting schedule: Tuesday & Friday from 6-8pm
Commencing date: 27 June
Fee: 200k/class
Even if no one else wants to join, the class will start on the proposed date.

Morning IELTS class notice
From my experience of the current class, some students cannot follow the learning schedule.
The reasons vary: some find it too easy or too slow, some find it too difficult or too quick, some is too busy to study. So the student turnover showed a bit of fluctuation for the first 3 weeks. Now the class is doing well with 10 members
So an idea pop up in my mind for the coming course: we need a test.
I will revise a test with medium level of difficulty including: Listening, Reading, and Writing (all in 1-1.5 hours).
For those who used to be or are my students do not need an interview, but the brand new ones do.
Upon having the test result, I''ll contact you about our course of action.
I know that you all may not like the sound of ''test'' but for the sake of the class we have to anyway

Hi Huong, I also want to joint the evening class for instant Ielts but first of all can you ensure on the quality of the course. If I attend every class, learn hard can I increase my mark in Ielts exam. Now I just can get about 550 TOEFL after finishing your course will I be able to get 600 TOEFL or the same IELTS convertible mark. Hope will receive your response soon.

Thanks for your interest in my IELTS course.
From your description, you are able to obtain 550 TOEFL or equivalent 5 IELTS, now you wish to raise your band to 600 TOEFL or 6 IELTS.
Normally, it takes about 3 months to increase 1 band in IELTS. If you still have time, why don''t sit down for a proper preparation?
By nature, IELTS is more academic than TOEFL, so you should take time to learn the vocabulary and to absorb the so-called academic style, especially in writing and speaking.
However, if your background and skills is good, you can, of course, shorten the preparation time but still get good results (My husband is a good example, he practices intensively for one week and finished with band 6.5 - up 0.5 compared with his previous level).
I have helped 3 people in instantly preparing for their IELTS test. All of them can get the required band. One important point to note is that they were very hardworking and determined.
So I leave you to make the decision yourself.
