As far as I know, the best places for studying IELTS are IDP ( Nam Ky Khoi Nghia ) and British Council (Le Duan) . AUSP is also a good foreign language center. But if you want to study in Australia , IDP is a professional center teaching IELTS .

Have you studied at those centre, Dimi? The IELTS course at British Council is very, very expensive, $300 for 32 hours. It's still more expensive than any other centres' courses if we have a discount of 10%.
To emgaionline: Dou you have time and money? If you do, you can take courses at both centres and make a comparison.

to dimi : IDP is ACET , isn't it? can u give me the address of IDP ? what do u think about AUSP ? My friend said it was good for studying IELTS .
to minhduc : British 's good for people who want to study abroad in Eng .but i want to study in Aus . So i think AUSP will be better . .And i don't have so much money to waste . If you want , you can register both centrels . Plz give me a good comparison , don't forget !

AUSP is a good school in terms of teaching IELTS .
To Minh Duc : how are U? What time did you go home after taking part in SEC christmas party? Was it too late? I'm working hard in SEC in order to earn enough money to take an IELTS course at British Council :)>
I will inform you about English Speaking Club at VATC .

What a pity that I don't have time and money to take those courses. I took a 60-hour IELTS course at ILA and I think it was quite good. A classmate of mine said that courses at ACET were better than ILA, but I think that the main reason is that ACET's course (100 hours) is longer than ILA's.
Personally, I will sit the IELTS on 24-1 this year but I am still worried about my writing and speaking. There's not much time to practice now. Hope I will survive after the test.

ILA? How does it cost? How's about your IELTS result? Do you have any document or books about IELTS? Can you give me?

Well, my 60-hour course cost $240. You should contact them for latest information.
All I can tell you about my result is that I got satisfactory score. If you want, when I get official results I will tell you.
Books about IELTS are available in many bookshops. Why don't you have a look at these.
One more thing I want to tell you: IELTS score depends on your English, not how many IELTS courses you've taken. An IELTS course may help you improve your English but its main reason is helping you familiar with the IELTS so you won't take lower score than your level.

God...friends always make us confusing...I was told that IELTS was NOT easier than TOEFL...anyway, if u wanna study in Aus. try to focus on IELTS, TOEFL is only really useful when studying in USA...think about it and have a good choice, girl....!
