Today is ok but tonight

Hi everyone,
After a relaxing night, we have to be back to our lesson. Tomorrow we should do a test that bro Thang prepared and correct the writing tests if we have enough time.
Here is my writing task 2 which was corrected by my friend. The words/phrases in brackets were recommended by her to replace ones I had used.
Her comment is: The essay is rather good but it''s not very smooth. It can get band 6 or higher.
Popular events like the football World Cup and other international sporting occasions are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic enmotions in a safe way.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.
In our modern world, human beings (tries) try really hard to keep our world peaceful and stable. However, international tensions and ultra nationalism leading to unsafe situations still remain in some parts of the world. As far as I am concerned, apart from superior negotiations and conversations, popular events like the football World Cup and other international sporting occasions is an efficient way to reduce/minimize differences between countries and build up (an) international friendship.
The first thing we notice is that playing sports games together may connect people from a variety of nationalities. Despite what (the) colours their skins are (Despite + Nphrase) or which (the) languages they speak, all players in the same match have the same goal - trying their best to win the match. A classic illustration can be cited is the football World Cup 2002 held in Japan and South Korea. At that time, (the) relationship between the two South Asian countries was rather tensional because Japanese Prime Ministrers often visited Yasukuni pagoda, where many Japanese soldiers fighted in South Korea during the World World II were worship. However, the two neighbouring countries clutched others'' hands to hold a successful World Cup.
It should be also emphasized that sporting events may release patriotic emotions in a safe way. Ultra nationalism may cause wars and terrorist attacks due to (+ Nphrase) (since/as) people show their patriotism in the negative ways. When their national teams take part in international sporting matches, they may put their hearts at the right place by supporting. A clear example may be given is that when Iraqi football team won the Asian Cup 2007, both the ****te and Sunni people gathered together to celebrate, in spite of the conflict between them.
At the same time, it could be argued that international tensions may be worse if there are quarrells, even fights, between players or supporters from different countries. However, those holigans count (account for) a harly noticeable amount. The important point is that the police and organization boards should implement some efficient sollutions to control (+sth).
In conclusion, holding sporting events plays an essential role in easing international tensions and encouraging patriotic emotions in possitive way. Meanwhile, the police and organizers should do their utmost to prohibit holigan plague.

At Cin: Thanks Cin for your writing test 2. I think that a perfective one (ofcourse it should be compared with our background). Some your real evidences make the task more persuasive.
Why you do not invite your friend support us sometimes?
At Nhim: Do not forget prepare some thing for our group because my sister might come home late tonight while I do not know how to cook fresh food deliciously. My solution is buying some slices of bread and canned food for you.
