The levels of participation in 1980 and 1990 in education and science in developing and industrialised countries are described in the gaps below. We can see that both education and science in the industrialised countries far more than in the developing countries.
In the first chart, the years of schooling in developing countries is fairly lover at 2,5years in 1980 and increased gradually at 3,5 years in 1990 while is at 10,5 years in industrialised countries 1990. We also can see clearly the differences between two groups of these countries is performed by the number of scientists and technicians in 1000 people and amount of money they spend on research and development. In the industrialised coutries, they increased rapidly and equally from 1980 to 1990: amount of money increased at 200 millions dollar and more around 28 scientists and technicians in 1000 people. However, the number of people who work for science and technology fields increased lightly, more around 3 people from 1980 to 1990 and even, the spending on research and development drop sharply halve in 1990.
In conclusion, the face of developing countries is still much lower in comparison with the industrialised countries, especially in spending on research and developing.

The information about travel to and from the UK, and about the most popular countries for UK residents to visit are described in the charts.
The first chart shows that the number of visits abroad by UK residents is more than the amount of visits to the UK by overseas residents. In 1979, the quantity of abroad travelers from the UK was more than that to the UK only 3 millions. And then, both of them rose steadily till 1986. From 1986 onward, the number of visits abroad by UK residents increased quickly. In 1999, it was more 2 times when compared with the amount of travelers visited abroad to UK. It was some 54 millions, besides, the quantity of visits to the UK overseas residents was only 28 millions. Overall, during 20 years, the number of visits abroad by UK residents ranged from 12 millions to 54 millions, this represented a 42 millions improvement, whilst the amount of visits to the UK by overseas residents only augmented approximately 18 millions.
According to the second chart, France was the most popular country visited by UK residents, about 11 millions in 1999. And the next position belonged to Spain, it was 9 millions. Nguyễn Việt Cương-ielts26-02/07-C2T3W2:
To discuss about the capital punishment, I partly agree with the opinion that this legal solution is essential to control violence in society and without it our lives are less secure and crime of violence increases.
Firstly, I agree with it because in my mind, there is an attitude that people need to be controlled. People, not a common notion like human, are the complex of individuals in society. Prevalently, everything, done by someone, is to serve his or her targets. And several people, running for maximum profit, can do whatever works despite what and how consequences they bring about. So it is indispensable for having legal rules, stopping these types of people. That must also include the highest level of punishment, the death penalty, with two main aims. The first purpose is to punish criminals having crimes that are too dangerous with other?Ts safety in society and/or lose all humanity. The second aim is to prevent anyone who have idea of doing such things potentially being treated by this punishment. Given that, there is no inclusion of this penalty in criminal law, underworld, at that time, will feel no fear of doing such crimes as killing people, drug trafficking and so on. If they are arrested, they may only will be sent to prisons and when ?ogetting out of there?, they absolutely continue their dirty, unethical works. Society will be no more than a chaotic mass. The capital punishment, therefore, is a essential legal solution for contributing the balance of society.
Secondly, my agreement with this opinion is not total because as I said, people need to be controlled but must be in the root cause of the issue not on top like the above legal solving. No one is born to be a criminal. Pushing a person into the underworld are the social habitats, and more deeply, are the unfair possibilitys of approaching such education, imformation, resources, technology achievements, etc?Once this situation is sovled, there will be no reason for anyone to be a robber, a drug traficer or a gangster. But this work need not only a long time but also huge human and material sources but I hope it will be done because when we kill a killer that we also are killers.

The results of a survey about visits abroad by UK residents from 1994 to 1998 are shown in the charts below. The first chart reveals the purpose of visits and the destination traveled is shown in the other chart. In the face of it, most of them traveled for holiday and the most popular destination is Western Europe.
The number of visit abroad increases steadily from 22,072 to 28,828. Holiday, the most frequent purpose in 1994, continues to cover the most part of the total. Business and visiting to friends and relatives are the less general reasons for visiting aboard however they tend to grow up, too. The ?~other reasons?T is the least frequent and it changes without clear trend: decreases in 1995 and goes up until 1998 when it goes down again.
In the 2nd table, it?Ts easy to see that Western Europe, always covered about six sevenths of the total in 5 years surveyed, is the most popular destination for traveling abroad. North America is the least popular yet the number in 1998 doubles the number in 1994. And other areas, including many countries, are more than North America trivially.
In conclusion, it could be said that holiday is the most popular reason and Western Europe is the most popular area for visiting abroad by UK residents.

Mercury, water, and iron are different substances. Each substance has specific properties so they donâ?Tt depend on the quantity of the substance. These properties that can be used to identify or characterize a substance are called characteristic properties. There are two kinds of intensive properties of the substance: physical and chemical properties.
The characteristic physical properties of a substance are those that identify the substance with causing a change in the composition of the substance. They donâ?Tt depend on the quantity of substance. Color, odor, density, melting point, boiling point, hardness, metallic luster or shininess, ductility, malleability, and viscosity are all characteristic physical properties. For example, iron is a substance which is both ductile and malleable. Another example of a physical property is water. Water which is a liquid substance can be volatile by certain heat. Boiling point of water is 100 degrees C or 212 degrees F, freezing point of water is 0 degrees C or 32 degrees F. These values arenâ?Tt dependent on quantity and volume of water.
