The results of survey of 100,000 UK residents about their reasons for traveling in 1994-98 period, showed by the first chart. The second chart reflected the destination of UK residents over the same period.
From the first chart we can see that reason of holiday had the biggest number of UK residents and it contributed mostly in total of UK residents to travel abroad. In the reason, there was a bit decrease amount in 1994-95 period, but there had climbed for the period 1995-98, from 14,894 in 1995 to 20,700 in 1998. Meanwhile, other reasons had lowest number of UK residents and much modified for the period 1994-98. The UK residents, who traveled with reason of business and visits to friend and relatives, were increased steadily, but growth rate was not much, from 3,155 and 2,689 in 1994 to 3,957 and 3,181 in 1998 respectively.
The number of UK residents who traveled to the Western Europe, North America and other areas increased steadily. However, the destination where UK residents likely went to be the Western Europe, as reached 24,519 in total number of 28,828 in 1998. Meanwhile, North American and Other areas only were 1,823 and 2,486 respectively.
These figures may be said that UK residents preferred the Western Europe to others in their holiday in 1994-98 periods.

From Tai?Ts opinion, overall only if the proper regulation, it will be not shortage of goods.
Scarcity of cement just happens in some Southern provinces. From the forecast, some companies located from Binh Thuan to Long An province will raise in usage of cement by 12- 14 % in comparison with the same period last year. In fact, in this area, volume of cement brought onto the market has been raised by 22 -25 %, or about more than 2.5 millions tons. It?Ts unusual that agents still complain about lack of goods, while a large quantity has been being discharged into the market.
Mr Tai said to meet the demand for only HCMC for four early months of 2008, cement companies would certainly put amount of 900,000 tons on the market, giving a 50.000 tons in raise. In reality, actual demand is about 20.000 tons; and the rest of 30.000 tons is for speculation- buying craze. A cement executive said:? That consumers bought bit more is an excuse for sellers to lift cement price?.

At this time, the inventory comprising crude and finished steel is about 700.000 tons, used enough for two next months. Mr. Mai Van Tinh, President of Vietnam Steel Corporation, confirmed ?osteel supply is not the matter. The source of crude steel is enough; so, the rumor of scarcity is not true?.
Fertilizer
Some types of fertilizer such as DAP have been decreased in price by 1000 - 3000 VND per kg. Others have been abated or not increased as before. According to some distributors, Fertilizer and Oil chemical Company, a large fertilizer provider in Vietnamese market, has not yet decided to boost price from May 12, which helped to repress the increasing trend.
Mr. Dao Duc Vu, Deputy director of Hoang Le Company, said fertilizer trader also had cut down the price in order to release their stocks and to pay interest for banks. Besides, peasant reduce their usage makes agents lower the price.

The chart compares the amount of leisure time between men and women of different employment status throughout the period from 1998 to 1999. It can be clearly seen that both men and women have a lot of leisure time were unemployment or retirees.
In the charts, the male employed full-time spent around 48 hours for leisure time per week and the female employed full- time had 38 hours for enjoying their leisure time. While the amount of leisure time were nearly doubled in comparison with the people who were unemployed: 85 hours/week for men and 70 hours/ week for women. Just under, the male retirees enjoyed a bit over 80 hours spare time and female retirees used around 68 hours. We can see that, the female employed part-time had more a bit leisure time than the employed full time women: 40 hours, however, the housewives had over 50 hours per week for relaxing.
In conclusion, the amount of leisure time were used by men often much than by the women throughout the whole period but the unemployed people had the most spare time than others.
