Surely, impacts by price adjustment on economy and daily life are growing.
Impact on politics
The raise of fuel-price caused many protests by many social-classes such as the drivers in England or consumers in Indonesia, which led to debate about the stability of politics. How increased price indirectly will impacts on politics is not clear, but some experts think that opposed demonstrations won?Tt happen in the immediate future. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Cu, Director of Institute of Population and Social Affair, in the interview by BBC in 22 July 2008, concurred with that idea.
He asserted that rise of fuel-price led to increase in transportation cost for goods, made an indirect impact on low-income classes.
He said that? Generally, any class will be negatively impacted but the moneyed class ,however, could be more comfortable to live than the poors, who meets many difficulties to pay their essential demands. Talking about whether or not the people will take the opposed protests, he said that wouldn?Tt take place in Vietnam, because the people entirely understood the State budget couldn?Tt be used for subsidizing in the long term. Continuing *****bsidize means the growing difference in fuel- price in comparison with other neighboring nations.? The government is trying to persuade the people of the necessity of price adjustment?. ?oThis is in-expectant problem caused by many objective factors.
