Smoking is the cause of millions of deaths each year. Therefore, there should be a worldwide ban on smoking. To what extent do you agree?
Smoking plays the main factor leading to lung cancer and heart disease in a marked amount of deaths annually. Accordingly, its negative impacts have becomed an issue of widespread concern. Many are in support of the global law prohibitting smoking. Nevertheless, I take a different view. In the essay, I will name three reasons to argure for my opinion.
Firstly, the ban is unfair to the people being slaves to tobacco. They have individual freedom to do whatever they want as long as not breaking the law. There is nothing wrong if they smoke in their own houses or cars because numerous countries forbided smoking in public places with the view of protecting non-smokers from the danger of cancer when contacting with the formers. Futhermore, smokers rarely become criminals in stealing goods or attacking others while this situation is popular at drunkens and drug addicts. Everybody seems to pick out smokers so much and neglects harmful sorts else such as alcohol and fatty food.
In ad***ion, a significant proportion of population depends on tobacco indirectly or directly. A number of peasants choose it to be the chief plant, especially developing countries. When this agricultural product can not be consumed, they fall into poverty. The interdiction on smoking causes tobacoo business to put a stop. Many staff and workers either become jobless or lose the ability *****pport their families. The goverment also encounter the disadvantages. Finally, the wave of protesters including smokers, tobacco companies, famers...against the smoking prohibittion with demonstrations rising up affects on public order. As a consequence, the number of violent actions is likely to grow dramatically.
In brief, there are ample reasons that a smoking probiddation brings about proplems more than benefits. Yet I suppose if the ban is gradually carried out in a long time along with wise strategies, this is definitely helpful to whole community''s health.

The two graphs describes the trend in smoking and alcohol consumption between 1960 and 2000.
Regarding the smoker, the general trend in the USA, Japan and Holland is downwards. The biggest percentage of smokers in 1960 was in Holland at about 60%, and then Japan at round 47% and the USA at 40%. Holland underwent the most sharp decrease, going down to nearly 43% in 1980. After that the Holland figure declined at the same steady rate as Japan until 2000. The percentage of USA dropped to 20% at that time.
As far as the alcohol consumption is concerned. There was a leap between 1960-1980 from about 4l per person in Holland to nearly 12% in 1980. The number of litres per capita consumed in the USA was gradual growth from round 8l to approximately 10l in 1980. However, it can be seen that the figure fell modestly to about 8l in the USA and 10l in Holland by 2000.
Especially, the story in Turkey was so different. There was minimal increase from 1l to about 1.5l per capita in the period 1960 ?" 2000.

However, the longest time of acid level in mouth is after eating cane sugar in round 25 minutes. There is about 15 minutes tooth maybe harmful by decay because of eating fruit sugar. Honey seems the safest of sweet foods at nearly 10 minutes acid level at which tooth decay occurs. Actually, the time harm for tooth is quite long, so we should brush your teeth imme***ely after using sweet food. It can be inferred that eating sweet food a lot is not good for your health.

Low income earners spend least money for fast foods in 3 groups, but they have other style, fish and chips are most popular dishes, hamberger is the second, and the last is pizza.
Seeing the graph, in 1970, fish and chips were three times as much as hamberger. Pizza were the least popular fast foods at that time. After that, the consumption of hamberger and pizza have had steady increase from 1970 to 1990, whereas the consumption of fish and chips have been a sharp decrease from 1970 to 1985, from 1985 it has gone up minimally.
It can be infered that the more money British earn, the more fast foods they use.
