Hi pals. We all want desperately to learn and improve our English, right? So whatõ?Ts the best way to do it? Everybody has their own idea. For the humble me, the fastest way is to have fun while learning it. Enjoying jokes (by either reading or writing them), for example, will sharpen your reading and composition skills a lot. ALCOHOLIC COURAGE

A young man entered a bar, walked to the counter and told the barman,
õ?oMay I have a question, sir? I heard that a drink of beer will bring you the courage to do something terrible that you hate to do? Is that right, sir?õ?
õ?oYes, I guess so,õ? the barman answered with a smile.
õ?oHow much beer then?õ?
õ?oIt dependsõ?Ư Why donõ?Tt you try and find out?õ?
õ?oOK, then give me a glass of beer please.õ?
Sitting in the corner, the young man kept asking for more beer. After the fifth glass, the barman looked at the man with a wink,
õ?oWell, how do you feel? Am I right?õ?
õ?oUh yes, I feel the courage growing in me, but not enough,õ? and then he ordered another drink.
Three more glasses and then the man stood up, saying to the barman with a very strong voice, õ?oAll right, thank you for the beer, sir. Iõ?Tll stop here. I think Iõ?Tll make it now!õ?
This time the barman could not overcome his curiosity. õ?oYes, I can tell that from your face,õ? he said, õ?obut may I ask what is that thing that you hate to do so much, man?õ?
The young man looked into the barmanõ?Ts eyes and smiled.
õ?oJust telling somebody that I have no money in my pocket, sirõ? he answered wrily.
