    To begin with:

A man aboard a plane saw one of his friends at a rear seat. He stood up and walked up to the friend, shouting a friendly greeting. But he was immediately stopped and arrested by people on the plane. Why did this happen?

To quote Minh Chau: (The friend who solved it)
"It would only have something to do with terrorism if his friend''s name is Jack. If his friend''s name wasn''t Jack, then you could just say that he stood up when he was not supposed to... for example, the red light was on, you know, the one that makes you stay in your seat, but then he stood up, but then that''s not enough to warrant an arrest. o.o So I suppose you have to go with the answer that his friend''s name is Jack and that this is a bad almost-terrorist joke. ^^;"
Hope no offence taken..=P Minh Chau is pretty sarcastic.

    * * * * * to Sil for the right answer. This is not my invention; it''''s actually a scene from the comedy movie "Airplane!" long ago.
I promise from now on you''''ll be free of any politically insulting jokes. This is the second riddle:
Alphabet starts with A, and ends with D. Is it true or false?
History starts with H, and ends with E. Is it true or false?

My answer is TRUE for both cases. Can you explain it?
Note: I have corrected an error in my second riddle: E instead of S. Sorry.

LTB,I just make up thí answer but i''m not sure!
"Alphabet start with A,and ends with D" is that because with "T" and "D",when you say it, yỏu mouth make the same shape??
And the same with Y and E, at the end when you say "Y",Your mouth''s shape is the same when you say "E"????
But,how about another question(for fun)that my friends asked me before! This is easier than LTB''s one:
What is a word in English that have:
    -/double of letter "i" ?
    -/3 pairs of double letters?
-/Which word changes from "plural" to "singular" when you add "s" at the end?
-/contain 5 other words inside it?

T is prounounced like D in American English in some cases (see Guide to pronunciation)
For the second question, history is pronounced [''hist?ri], so it ends with an E
My answer and robot''s are relatively alike
So close no matter how far... I have you in my heart and nothing else matters... :x

Thank Robot2051 and Britney fof trying. Your explanation sounds pretty good but if it were the answer then this riddle wouldn''t be fun at all !!! Bear in mind that the riddle has a catch (trick) in it, a common trap found very often in language riddles! See if you can find it !
    To answer Robot2051''s trivia riddles:
    1. SKIING
    2. BOOKKEEPER (not only 3 pairs, they are in a row!)
    3. PRINCES -> PRINCESS. The two words are different, that''s why you used quotation marks, right?
    4. Many of them. But the shortest word is THERE (the, he, her, here, ere).
