    DO YOU BELIEVE...
    Brian Mattes
Look into your heart and tell me what you see.
Am I still on your mind; are you thinking of me?
Do you wake in the night and let out a sigh?
    Do you whisper my name and wonder why;
I can't be there with you tonight?
With you in my arms, holding you tight?
Do you believe in the miracle of Love
    Do you believe in you
    Do you believe in Love
Do you believe it could happen to you
Take me in your arms, don't ever leave
With you in my arms, I'll make you believe!
I believe in Love, always and forever.
I believe in us, you and I together.
I can't believe Love is pain,
You have everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Tell me you believe and look into my eyes...
Do you believe... I'm not like the other guys?
    Hold on tight, for I've given you my heart;
Heart and soul from the very start.
For your Love, I'll wait forever
With all my heart, I believe we'll be together.
Tell me you believe Love is bliss,
That you can believe in the magic of our first kiss.
Answer me one question, now, before I leave...
    Tell me, Do You Believe?
Bài này hay đấy chứ nhỉ, mọi người thấy thế nào?
As we go on, we remember all the times we had together
As our lives change, come whatever
We will still be FRIENDS FOREVER

    When Life gets hard
I wanted to find some words on a card.
That would help to get thru it when life gets so hard.
It seems you can't bear it - perhaps can't go on -
When deep in the heart there's no trace of a song.

    [IMG][IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Some words that would comfort -
when late in the night the trials return and -
    you're too tired to fight.
Or the tears flow so often it seems you'll run dry.
And life gets so tough that you just want to die -
Or at least go and hide -
where you're safe from all pain.
Someplace you can rest 'til you find joy again.

    [IMG][IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

What are the words you so need to hear -
That will help and will heal and remove all the fear -
That builds up inside 'til you think you'll explode -
What are the words that will lighten the load?
If only I knew the right words to say.
To encourage and Bless you or comfort some way.
I know not the words but this I can do.
I shall offer up Prayers to the Father for you.

    [IMG][IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I want to be in another place.
I hate when you say you don't understand.

    Mere Words
    by Kit McCallum

I searched among the card displays,
To see if I could find,
A little something that would say
Just what was on my mind.
However there was not a one,
    That captured it just right,
For no one else can understand
Just what I'd like to write.
    I even find it difficult
To try to write it down,
For how do I portray to you,
The love that I have known?
I close my eyes and what I see,
    Is someone I adore;
    A person who is beautiful,
    Right down into their soul.
    Mere words cannot describe
    The many qualities you show,
The love and caring nature that
You share with those who know.
    Your kind and gentle temperament,
    Your sweet angelic smile,
    Your softly spoken sentiments,
    That reach across the miles.
Your smile and laugh that sparkle with
    The softness of your sighs,
The way your face lights up a room ...
    That twinkle in your eye.
The loving gestures through the years,
    That quickly come to mind,
For always you've a gentle word
To calm and soothe I find.
I struggle and I search to try
To find some words anew ...
    And yet I cannot capture
All the things that make you you.
    I shall therefore, be satisfied
    That you must simply know,
Just how I feel about you,
For with words I cannot show

    A Tear Fell
    by Marge Tindal

    I shed a tear today
    Silently, I felt it fall
    You caught it
    shared it
    held it
    felt it
    then
    suddenly
    it wasn't
    so big
    after all ......

    It's not her imperfections.
    -- from somewhere --
It's not that she will laugh at your jokes
with a smile that is slightly crooked.
It's not that she can look into your heart
with eyes that do not open all the way.
It's not that she will hang on your ever word
with ears that poke out to the side a bit.
It's not that she won't look at the mirror at herself
because she has a bit of a stomach.
It's not that you can feel the rough spots in her skin
as you run your hands across her body.
It's not that she stands in the bathroom for an hour
working with hair that will not cooperate.
It's not that she snores a just a little
while keeping your side warm in bed at night.
It's not that she has to stand on a chair
to get the items out off the top shelf.
It's not that she has a slightly high pitched laugh
when something catches her funny bone.
It's not that you can see her tan lines
when you are making love to this woman.
It's not the tears that build up in her eyes
when she can't fit into her old jeans anymore.
It's not the heart she has that can love like no other
    under her imperfect breasts.
It's not that she can't open a soda can
with the nails she has bitten off.
It's not that she loves to smell your cologne
    with a slightly bent nose.
It's not the stretch marks she has
that makes bikini buying a nightmare.
It's not the few ruined meals she cooks
when she can't cook at all.
It's not that she leaves you cold at night
    while hogging all the covers.
It's not that she will never admit that she is wrong
when you know you are right.
It's not that she doesn't have it all together
and looks to you for support.
It's not that she will cry with no reason
    leaving you worried and confused.
It's not any one of theses things, but all
    that makes a woman beautiful.

    Too Good, Too Bad
    -by Alexander Bower 1/2/2003 -
May I pick a rose from your garden,
Or will that rose die if it is alone?
May I have a sip of your tea,
or will the tea be too sweet for my taste?
    May I kiss your forehand,
Or is your hand too sacred to love?
    May I take this dance,
Or is your dance too graceful for me?
May I watch the sunset with you,
Or are your eyes to gentle to be burned?
    May I have your heart,
Or is it too heavy to carry upon my shoulders?

We soon belive what we want to belive
The wish is father to the thought
I stay so long for thee, I wonder thee...
Dost you so hunger to my empty chair?
THERE ARE MORE YOU NEED TO KNOW THAN YOU EVEN KNOW YOU NEED

    Mirror Mirror
    Mirror mirror on the wall
do you have to tell it all?
Where do you get the glaring light
to make my clothes look just too tight?
I think I'm fine but I can see
    you won't cooperate with me.
The way you let the shadows play
you'd think my hair was turning grey.
What's that you say, a double chin?
No that's the way the light comes in.
If you persist in peering so
    you'll confiscate my facial glow.
And then if you're not hanging straight
you'll tell me next I'm gaining weight.
I'm really quite upset with you
    for giving this distorted view.
I hate you being so smug and wise.
Oh look what's happened to my thighs!
I warn you now oh mirrored wall
since we're not on speaking terms at all
If I look like this in my new jeans
    you'll find yourself in smitherines!
I want to be in another place.
I hate when you say you don't understand.
