Last night, we, SEC''s members, had a chance to join a social activity which was made by Rain and her friends. We gathered at the Independence Place''s gate on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street. As the plan, we should go at 4:00 pm but you know, Vietnamese are always late, so we start going to An Khanh Elemantary School at 4:30 pm. I know that we''re the second group because Rain had arrived there before and came back here to guide us to go there. Actually, there''re only some SEC''s members and they''re the guys I know. Quan Anh compaint that he want to be introduced to the other girls although he already went with his girfriend. It''s so interesting for me because I had knew Quan Anh before ( know his face without knowing the name). And both he and his girlfriend are my old friend''s friends.
We went along the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street, turned left on to Ham Nghi street, then to Ton Duc Thang street and stop at Thu Thiem ferry. Then we swam across the Sai Gon river ( just kidding) to be at District 2. We walked for a while to go to An Khanh Elementary School. There were a lot of people in a small yard. I didn''t count but I think we had about 50 members ( most of them are young female). 30 minutes later, many children were already at the school yard (about 150,right ?). They were so noisy, they talked, they argued, they screamed, ... If you had been there, you would have seen how well we did to ordered them.
Here is the plan we were going to do : giving them the presents including lantern, candles, mooncake and some other things which I don''t know, playing game ( singing & shouting), taking a lantern parade around the town with the children. That was so funny because the children didn''t want to play game and take the lantern parade. They just wanted to get the gifts ( the same to us when we were children, right ?). So the only thing we could do is to give them what they like.
Unfortunately, we, SEC''s members had to go home soon. Actually, I wanted to stay late ( but I really don''t know who should I talk with ). I always want to be the last members in any parties ( in Vietnamese, we called it "Choi toi ben"). Ah, yesteray''s also Lea''s birthday. We did forget saying "Happy birthday" to her. Sis Di, CBC, and Lea didn''t forget taking some photographs on the ferry. What the ....... girls ! ( please fill it for me).
Thanks for letting join your activity, Rain. Although we didn''t do much, I think we really had a good time. To me, I haven''t screamed and shouted since I was in highschool. It helped me release my stress. I hope we will have many social activities like that in the future.
P/S : To me, there''re some funny things. I had 2 times mistake our girls with the children. Sorry Trang ( Quan Anh''s girlfriend ) and a certain girl. ( Because of the dark night, I couldn''t see anything clearly ).
