Some thoughts about Paul in The Short Cuts

Synosis: With different stories about different individuals in a single movie, Altman seems to send this message to his fans " People are both bad and good"
Paul is Howard's father. The man is in his sixties with lots of wrinkles and gray hair. His eyes are what what stand out out about the old man, it's sad and dull-looking as if he was not satisfied with life and he was really in a mood to pour out something that he's been obessed with to a concerned individual. As the movie goes on, you would be aware that the director chose an actor with this appearance on purpose. He apparently would like to take advantage of these facial features
with the good acting of the actor to bring out the full characteristics of the character.
It can be disappointing moment in the scenario when the Paul came all the way from Riverside just to see his son and not his grandson, who, was in coma. More unsatisfactory, the old folk seemed to have no interest in his grandson's state. Surprisingly, he only cared about the well-being of his son and sister-in-law.Hmm, what is wrong with the fatherhood??? Well, it turned out to be Paul had been haunted with a guilty feeling toward his son for years. He had a "out of control" love affair with Howard's aunt and because of this affair he couldn't be with his son when he got a car accident and needed Paul the most. So, there was no fatherhood when his son was in the traumatic situation !!!
Now a same situation happened again, but the unfortunate child was in a good care of his father, who has always been with him all the way. Regardless of the past, this was a good chance for Paul to get rid of his haunted feeling and make up for the guilt by being with his son.
Human beings are weak and vulnerable. Paul is just a down-to-earth individual . He was week and could resist the ***ual temptation and that could be forgiven as long as the man tries to fix his problem.After all, the power of love is the cure to all problems .
The boy's life was not saved though the doctor tried his best!. The movie ended with a scene in which Paul, with his head down, dragged away while the hospital maintenance person was sweeing off the hall way. Some dirts would be flown away off the hall, some would stay . Part of Paul's guilty feeling would probably also go way

I like Harry Potter , The lord of the ring , and Home alone ( only part 1 and 2, part 3 's boring) . ...
Ah , if you want to buy VCD , DVD , you can go to 170 Nguyen Dinh Chieu street .
In here , The VCd 's very good ,  ussually have new movie . In this shop , it only sell VCD or DVD of movie .  
Hihi` , because my English 's not good , can i write same Eng and Vie in this topic?
Have you ever seen Home Alone part 2 ?, it's very funny .

I like Lord of the Rings, action movies and horror movies.
I am attracted by American movies, in my opinion, Korean or Hong Kong movies are sh*t. Sorry for any inconvenience.

About actors, I like Vam Damme, Arnold (in Terminator, Eraser), Harison Ford, Stenven Seagal.
About actresses, I don't like anyone but I awayls look at them coz all of them are very beautiful. -)
