BIG HEART ?" The Community of Volunteers working for Charity Purposes:
Big HEART is short for The Community of Volunteers working for Charity Purposes. It was set up in the early 2005 by a group of nearly thirty young Vietnamese students studying in Vietnam, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Backgrounds of Big HEART members are various, from MBA, Marketing to Architecture, Construction, Industrial Engineering, Graphic Design, Fashion Management, Fine Art, International Relations, Information Technology and Computer Sciences. However, they all share a passion of working for the progress of a better community and for the benefit of less-advantageous people.
The vision for Big HEART is *****pport other voluntary groups of Vietnamese students which are already working directly with less-advantageous people. Those groups provide services, i.e.: running classes for disabled children, organising home visits or activities for poor people or people who suffer from the war, i.e. orange agent, etc. The main income of those groups comes from the voluntary donation of people, which tends to be fluctuated and one-off. Big HEART considers that problem as a hindrance for the good works and wishes to act as a source of fund-creator by setting-up services and products which it can sell to make profit. The profit will be set aside for those voluntary groups which work directly with less-advantageous people. The investment money is contributed by Big HEART?Ts founder.
Big HEART is run by a flexible dynamic model which allow members of particular expertise to involve in specific projects. The commitment and involvement can be changed depend on the nature of the project. (An inter-active module can be provided on request or check out at our topic at Box Mythuat later)
In the near-future, with internal experiences and knowledge of its own members, Big HEART will launch an Art and Craft Project and a Fashion Brand. The Art and Craft project concentrates on producing hand-made cards, souvenirs, and other woven products using tra***ional weaving techniques. The fashion brand is to make clothes with Big HEART trademark. Those products will be presented in Big HEART shop and at its web site.
An official web site is being built and is expected to be on use at the earlier of July 2005. Information about the group, members and its projects, its partners as well as an open-for-public forum can be found there.

Big HEART is seeking for a long term partnership with other voluntary groups and individuals. The Con***ions and Regulations for partnership based on the basic rules of Big HEART with respect to rules of those partners. A customised Partnership Con***ions and Action Plan may be introduced if necessary.
